We were Sunday and I didn’t have to worry about mating Justice, I was genuinely happy. When I went out I kiss and hugs my parents so much so past few days they were starting to complain. But I was utterly grateful for their understanding and kindness.

This day was about to enlighten me even more because of who I was seeing.

I ring the bell and wait for him to open the door. I hear low footsteps, the key then he opens the door “Hey” he says smiling brightly “aren’t you a little late? I believe we say 11am”.

“Hey” I respond smiling “but I believe that, as my lover, you should not expect me to be on time a Sunday  morning” I kiss him lightly on the lips. I enter the house and look back at him, still at the door frame “So, what are we eating ?”.

He gave me a really attentionate smile and closed the door “Thaali”.

Joshua  and I have met at school when I was in last year of middle school. He had just transferred as a sophomore in high school. We really became friend quickly despite our little age gap. He was kind, funny, warm, bright, honest and so much more. So, so, so much more.

Maybe that’s why I was so attached, so in love. When I became a freshman in high school he told me he was moving away, I panicked a little and confessed to him.  He just hugs me, his chin on my head and say with his usual calm but with a hint of playfulness “you know I’m just moving next town, like an hour away”. Gosh, it was so embarrassing.

I groan out loud.

“What?” Joshua ask.

“I was just thinking of my confession and your lame answer” I pout “Or non-existent one”

He came next to me on the little balcony and kissed my cheek “It was cute and I did answer a few days later”

I put my arms on his waist and look up “letting me in a nervous wreck for a few days”

“But I wanted to decently confess, unless some people I don’t confess in the public toilets of a mall”

“Hey “I hiss “I was panicked you little dwarf”

“I am the dwarf?” He laughs patting my head

“That’s not the point!” I glare at him, then burst out of laughing unable to contain it.

It was so great being with him, being really cared about, being us, in our own little world laughing when there’s nothing to laugh about, smiling at the mere sight of him, watching the way his dimples appear when he laughs, the way his eyes closed slightly, his eyebrows furrow a little, remembering the most of him each time.

 I was indeed really in love and there was no way I was going to mate with some unknown werewolves anytime soon.
