Today is my birthday, I just turned 5.

I sit there and listen like I always do.

"I'm sorry mother I won't do it again"

What else am I supposed to say?

"NO, DON'T GO ALL "OH I'M SO SORRY" YOU ARE JUST A SELFISH BRAT AND DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME YOUR MOTHER  I WISH YOU WERE NEVER BORN GO TO YOUR ROOM AND DON'T DARE COME DOWN UNTIL YOU'VE GAINED SOME RESPECT"

"Yes Mam" 

I don't feel like crying, I feel like I'm going bonkers.

I just want her to die.

I want to strangle her until her skin turns blue just like the sky.

I want her to feel the pain I feel. 

I want her to suffer.

I'll make sure she suffers.

"I've been waiting for you princess" 

I froze in place.

I forgot he was home.

"come here, you know you want to"

I did what he told me to do.

After all, I was his daughter I had to obey.

The next day I woke up in my bed with bruises everywhere, I didn't mind tho as long as they are satisfied.

"WAKE UP, IF YOU MISS THE BUS YOULL HAVE TO WALK TO KINDERGARTEN"

I walk into the kitchen.

"there you are" 

He sighs 

"Why arent you dressed, not that I mind tho"

"HURRY UP YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE"

"Yes mam"

                2 years later...

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ANYA"

Sara looked at me with disbelieve 

"It deserved it"

I said holding a rock over its dead body

"NO, it was just a kitten"

Neither of us said anything.

"Anya, we can't be friends anymore"

"what, why"

I felt my cheeks burning.

"I'm scared of you, everyone thinks you are weird and they're right you are, you just an ugly crazy kid"

I was enraged.

I punched her, kicked her.

She was screaming for help.

I simply paid no mind to it.

The next day a body of a seven-year-old girl was found, beaten to death.

They say that there were remains of a cat found in her throat.

The killer was never caught, they suspected it was a male in his thirties.

After that incident I knew I had to continue, it was the only way to make me satisfied.
