Greetings, everyone, and welcome to my series of crossovers with other Tapas creators! This will involve my characters meeting those of other authors, either in my setting (10th century Norway) or in theirs.
This is the cover for the series, as if drawn by my Anglo-Saxon monk, Aidan. It features a map centered on Europe (the world known to him, showing Northers Africa and the western half of Asia), based on the 1040 Anglo-Saxon 'Cotton' World Map. Notable here is that maps at the time were oriented towards the East instead of the North, having Jerusalem at the center or top (hence the term "oriented" from "Orient"). You can see Iceland, England and the Scandinavian peninsula at the bottom, Noah's Ark shipwrecked on the N-E shore of the Black Sea, and an inscription of "Hic abundant leones" (Here abound lions) over S-E Asia.
The overlay represents a New York city skyline, so suggest FortunusGames's setting.
