I ran back downstairs and my parents explained everything to me. I had mixed emotions. I was mostly happy and concerned though. My dad then said, “Tsuyoi, tomorrow will be your last day at the academy you are currently in. With those eyes of yours, you will need to learn how to fully master its abilities, and control its power.” I agreed with it. I was kind of bummed out that I had to leave my academy though. My parents told me my new teacher's name is Mr. Kamatoski. Luckily, on my last day of the academy, Kabatamashi came, and it was a fighting day. First we were doing two-on-two, then we would do one-on-one. Whoever your teammate was for the first battle would be your opponent in the next. I got paired with Kabatamashi. “Are you ready to win this Kabatamashi,” I asked him with a big grin on my face. “Look, let’s just get this over with, I have other places I could be. And also, do NOT get in my way in this battle,” Kabatamashi said with a serious face. We were going against two other strong kids. Then, a voice on the overcome was heard. “3, 2, 1, FIGHT!” Kabatamashi started the fight off by throwing a huge fireball at the opponent. They countered it with a water beam. “Kabatamashi, let's use a combo. I will throw a fireball and you throw an electric ball, just trust me,” I said to him, he went with it hesitantly. We were able to pull it off, only to realise that it was a clone! “How could that be…? HE WAS JUST STANDING THERE!!!” I was confused. The real opponent jumped behind Kabatamashi and smashed him down with a blue aura ball. It hurt Kabatamashi badly. He got up and then it turned into a fist-fight. Eventually, Kabatamashi gave up. Now, it was two-on-one. The other team teamed up on me. That's when I used my eye. They were shocked, and immediately forfeited. I deactivated my eyes. Everyone was shocked. But Kabatamashi was mad at me for making us attack a clone and almost lose. I insisted I did not know it was a clone. He then said, “Of course you did not know it was a clone. You are just an idiot who got blessed with strong, hard working parents.” I then said “No, I worked hard to become strong! You just think you're so tough. I will show you one day that I do not need anyone to become stronger!” He replied saying “You better watch out for me in the future. This may be your last day here, but not the last you’ll hear of me.” Then I knew I had a rival. Now came the one-on-one’s. I was going up against Kabatamashi. “3, 2, 1, FIGHT!” I ran to his side, getting ready to use my fireball on him, and secretly made a clone to attack him from behind. He jumped up in the air and dodged it! While he was coming down, he made a fireball and threw it at me. “Fireball,” He shouted. I did a backflip to dodge it. It became a fist-fight for about one and a half minutes. He then started flooding the arena with his water. I was about to activate my eye, but remembered I do not have control of my powers because I have no training with it. My clone was destroyed and it was just me and him. I secretly had my clone put a darkness bomb into his pocket, which is supposed to explode with dark matter and instantly weaken your opponent. I saw an explosion in the distance, realising he knew what I did. He then said, “HAHAHAHAHA, you fool! Did you really think I would fall for that idiotic trick and not notice your clone? Also, you may want to check your back.” I was confused. I then said, “Wha- what do you mean check my-” Before I could even check my back or finish my sentence, a fire bomb exploded right on me. I went down, and I was too weak to continue. Kabatamashi had won this battle, and I was sure of it. I lost. All this training for hours upon hours just to get beaten? I must try harder. I will get him next time we meet, surely.
