I then felt a HUGEEEE gust of wind, then a voice on the overcome said, “TSUYOI ADVANCES!” I then regained consciousness. I ran to the bathroom, then asked for an explanation. It felt pretty weird, because I was talking to myself. The mysterious energy source then said, “Tsuyoi, my name is Ichiki, the ‘mysterious’ energy source you wield. Well, I am not even an energy source, I am more like a spirit that lives inside you. I am the only one left of my kind. There was carnage among my people, and I was also about to be killed, so I had to find someone's body to go inside of. I saw a hospital, and decided it would be a perfect place to take over the body of a young baby. So, when you were born, I let myself inside your body. I decided to leave your body, but you are such a strong person, and most of your energy comes from me. So, I changed my mind and stayed with you.” That was a lot of information to take in all at once. I then asked,“Wait, so you're telling me your ‘people’ were massacred and you're the only one left? Then you came inside my body without my consent?” “Correct,” Ichiki replied. I needed to clear things up more. I asked, “So, wait. Do I have like… control over you or something, or do you only get to control ME when I am blacked out?” Ichiki then responded saying, “Well, you can control when I come out and use my powers, but you will need to master your energy spirit.” I then asked, “Wait, wait, hold on. What is an energy spirit?” Ichiki then explained it to me. “Huh? You don’t know what an energy spirit is? Well, my people were the only kind of energy spirits out there, so it should not come as a surprise. Well, an energy spirit is not really a spirit.  They have the form of a creature… like a friendly monster. They can exit that body and switch to a HUMAN host. It does not apply to any other living organism.” I then said, “I see. So, what did your original form look like,” I asked. She then said,“Well, I kind of looked like a… hm… I have to think and remember. Oh, yes! I looked like a dragon. I was a pure black dragon. I had wings too.” I then asked, “Wow, is there any way I can make your full form come out and control you in that form?” Ichiki then responded saying, “Look, it is too early for that, though there is a way. You need to master your energy spirit, AND build up a very good bond between you and I.” I then replied, “Well, the bond is already starting right now, I just need to master my energy spirit.” She then said, “Yup, that’s right. Now, back to the arena, I am pretty sure the second is about to start. You have already missed some of the fights going on.” So, we left it at that. I ran down the hall and back into the arena, and made it just on time to see the final match before the second round. Kabatamashi came up to me, and whispered something to me. “You may as well quit now after you saw what I did, punk.” I don’t know if he was trying to scare me or not, but it did not work, because I was not going to give up. After the final matchup of the first round happened, we took a 15 minute break. There was food like sushi, ramen, rice, and crab at the table outside the arena, but we could only eat AFTER the event had ended and we had a winner. There was also water there to drink. After the 15 minute break ended, the second round started. Mr. Kamatoski then announced who would be fighting who in this round. “Ukuko up against… Rushima!” Rushima was another very powerful student in the academy, but so was Ukuko, so I knew this fight was going to be interesting. Rushima does not use his energy source too much, as he has created some techniques of his own. The voice on the overcome said, “3, 2, 1, FIGHT!” Rushima started the fight off using a smoke bomb, then ran right behind Ukuko. Ukuko then dashed to the left as Rushima was about to hit him. Rushima then used his kunai and threw it right at Ukuko’s leg. It sliced a little bit of his skin, and it looked like Rushima missed. But it turned out Rushima meant to only hit a little part of Ukuko to catch him off guard, because Rushima ran right up to him and slammed Ukuko to the ground. *Poof* It turned out it was a clone. The real Ukuko then came falling down from the ceiling, ready to kick Rushima in the face. Rushima used his hand to grab Ukuko’s leg, then slammed him to the ground. Rushima then used his special magnet technique combined with his earth technique to get a bunch of rocks to hold down Ukuko. He did not notice that Rushima had already covered his legs knee-high. Ukuko then said, “Wha- what the hell is this? How did you even get rocks in here…” Rushima then said, “Silence you fool. Now, forfeit or I will cover your whole body with rocks, then you will be FORCED to forfeit. HAHAHAHA!” So, with no other choice, Ukuko forfeited. A voice on the overcome was heard. “RUSHIMA WINS!” There are 5 people left. One of the people was Wakame. I missed his fight in the last round while I was asking Ichiki questions. Mr. Kamatoski then said, “Alright, what a good fight! I love the technique you made, Rushima!” Rushima responded saying, “Haha, thanks! It’s nothing, really.” Mr. Kamatoski then announced the next round of people to fight. I was praying that I would not have to go against Kabatamashi, so I have a chance at beating him in the finals. “Kabatamashi up against… Wakame!” A voice on the overcome then said, “3, 2, 1, FIGHT!” Kabatamashi was looking to end this one quickly. He teleported behind Wakame. He was aware that Kabatamashi was behind him, as he turned around quickly and did a round-house kick. Kabatamashi reacted to it quickly, as he did a front-flip to get behind Wakame again. This time, Kabatamashi did his move quickly, and made him fall to the ground. Wakem got up, but Kabatamashi punched him right back down. Wakame then turned into a water humanoid, but he was not able to attack Kabatamashi. I think it was some sort of healing technique, that he turns into a water humanoid and stays like that to heal. After 10 seconds, he went back to normal. Kabatamashi then immediately started using his fire breath on Wakame. He then jumped up in the air and kicked Wakame. He was too weak to continue, and Kabatamashi had won this battle. “KABATAMASHI WINS!” Mr. Kamatoski then started speaking. “Alright, nice fight. Next up is Tsuyoi against… Nikomato!” I was glad to have to go up against Nikomato because he is one of the worst performing students. He was also one of the people’s fights I missed while I was in the bathroom. Now I am wondering how he even made it here. I do not want to talk bad about him or anything, because I can tell he tries his best, but I really do not know why he honestly decided to compete when he probably knows himself he won’t win. I am confused how he even made it through the first round. “3, 2, 1, FIGHT!” Immediately as he heard the word “fight”, he forfeited. I was so confused, and sure enough, everyone else was confused too. Not at the fact that he forfeited, but at the fact that he knew he would have to fight and there was no point to sign up if you’re just going to forfeit. “O- okay, that was… underwhelming, to say the least. Anyway, Since 2 people won, and 1 person has already advanced to the semi-finals, we will put the names of the winners in a bucket, then I will put my hand in and reach for a name. Whoever's name is called, will automatically advance to the finals,” Mr. Kamatoski said. So, he put me, Kabatamashi, and Rushima’s name in a bucket. I was praying that either me or Kabatamashi would automatically advance to the finals so we would have a chance at fighting in the finals. Mr. Kamatoski then reached into the bucket, pulled out a name, then said, “The person advancing to the finals is… KABATAMASHI!” I was relieved, because now if I won this fight against Rushima, I could finally have a second chance to fight my rival. Mr. Kamatoski then said, “Also, did I forget to mention that even if you lose the finals, you get 250000 Yen?” After he said that, I knew I had to win this fight, because if I advanced to the finals, that is a guaranteed 250000 Yen. “Now, take your 15 minute break before the semi-finals start,” Mr. Kamatoski said. So as soon as we started our break, I went to the bathroom to ask Ichiki a favor. “Okay, I need to ask you something, Ichiki. Can you, maybe, use my body to fight Rushima and use your aura?” Ichiki then responded saying, “And just why would I help you? We only just started bonding.” I then said, “Look, I know, but I just need to win this semi-finals round. So please, just this once?” Ichiki then said, “Look, I do not want to fight right now. BUT, I will lend you some of my aura, so you're still using some of my energy and power. Deal?” I agreed. So, I went back to the arena, getting prepared for the semi-finals. Mr. Kamatoski then said, “Alright Rushima and Tsuyoi, you guys have 2 minutes left until the fight starts, so stretch and prepare. Remember, whoever wins this round, goes to the finals to fight Kabatamashi!” “Alright, can you lend me some of your aura now, Ichiki,” I asked, whispering. Ichiki then said, “Sure, but I will only lend my aura to you for 10 minutes, because that is the limit.” “Alright, thanks,” I responded. 2 minutes later, and it was time to start the semi-finals. This is it. Do or die. Win or go home. This was one of the main events of the morning, and when the round was starting, the whole arena was getting hyped up. The crowd was huge and noisy. “3, 2, 1, FIGHT!” Rushima started the fight off using his stone and magnet technique. The attack nearly hit me, but I dodged it. I then used a small darkness ball. “Hey, do you need some of my aura now,” Ichiki asked. “Yea, I do,” I responded. So she lent me some aura. My darkness ball became x4 bigger than before, and it hit Rushima right in the stomach. I thought it was over, but Rushima got up. He looked really beat up though, as if he could not fight well. Just then, a bunch of stone rocks went up in the air all around the arena. “Hahaha, I bet you didn't know I had this power,” said Rushima. “What the hell do you-” Before I could finish speaking, a bunch of rocks surrounded me up to my shoulders. Rushima then said, “Forfeit now, or else I will be forced to MAKE you forfeit!” I thought it was the end for me, and I was not making it to the finals. Just then, I remembered the powers that Ichiki gave me temporarily. I then used Ichiki’s aura to make a huge explosion and make the rocks go flying all over the place. I then made a light ball in one hand and a darkness ball in the other. I then threw them all at Rushima. He dodged the darkness ball, but the light ball hit him. “TSUYOI ADVANCES TO THE FINALS!” I won, and Rushima lost. I helped him get up. I then said, “Hey, you did great! I almost lost to that magnet and rock combination of yours!” He then smiled and said, “Haha, thanks. It was nothing though, really. And congrats on beating me and advancing to the finals, good luck!” I chuckled and said thank you. Mr. Kamatoski then said, “Alright, that was a short but good fight! This time, it will be a 30 minute break, since the next round is going to be the most important match of the day!” I could not wait to fight Kabatamashi again after losing to him in the other academy. I ran back to the bathroom to gather more information from Ichiki. “So, Ichiki, before your people detach their spirit from their physical body to go into a human, what were you guys called. Like the name or your species.” Ichiki then responded, “Well, my people were called Shinwa-jō no Creatues; since we were mythical creatures.” I then said, “Cool! So, explain to me more on how I can train to unlock your aura so I can use it at will.” Ichiki then said, “Well, before I tell you that, there are some things you need to know. I have 4 stages; and a 5th one ONLY for extreme cases. The 1st stage is purple aura, the 2nd stage is black aura, the 3rd stage is green aura, and the 4th stage is a white and black aura. And as you may have guessed, the 4th stage is the strongest before the 5th stage. We will not talk about the 5th stage, though. Now, as to how to control the aura so you may use it at will, is simply meditation. Although with how impatient you are, that will be very hard for you.” “HEY, TAKE THAT BACK!”, I said. “Nope,” Ichiki then said. I then said, “Anyways, that sounds simple enough. I can even start training today to unlock your first stage and use it at will!” So I went back to the arena then took a rest. 25 minutes later, and there was 5 minutes left until the finals. I got up and got ready for this final fight. I then started speaking to Ichiki. “Yo, can you lend me enough aura for me to unlock stage two?” Ichiki then said, “Look Tsuyoi, this is what I mean you’re impatient. I can lend you enough to unlock stage 1, but you are not ready for stage 2 until you train hard and become stronger!” I agreed with Ichiki. Mr. Kamatoski then said, “Okay, the 30 minutes is up! Fighters, get in your positions!” So, I stood at the opposite end of the arena; opposite of where Kabatamashi was standing. “3, 2, 1, FIGHT!” I said, “Okay, lend me your aura now Ichiki!” So she lended me one of her aura. Kabatamashi then said “Awww, do you really need some extra power to fight me? No worries, I’ll beat you no matter what!” I went right to Kabatamashi then hit him in the stomach with a lightning ball. He barely reacted to it. He then said, “I thought this was a fighting battle, not a tickling battle!” He was mocking my attack, basically saying it tickled. I was furious. I then started attacking him viciously, but he dodged every hit. I was really tired from all that attacking. He then took the chance to kick me up into the air, then teleport where I was and punch me right down. He then used fire breath on me. I thought it was over. “KABATAMASHI ADVAN-” Before they could finish talking, I got up, knowing I could not lose this rematch against Kabatamashi. I was too weak though. I then remembered my eyes. I had barely known how to control my powers, but it was going to be the only way I could now beat Kabatamashi. So, I activated my eyes and got ready to fight Kabatamashi again. I then said, “Did you think it was over, Kabatamashi? You thought I would lose so easily, just like that and you would win? Well, you must be dreaming if you thought that was going to happen.” I pushed him away using my eyes. He then got levitated up into the air, then smashed down. I then threw a darkness ball at him, then pushed him away again. He got back up, then fell right back down. “TSUYOI WINS!” I did it. As soon as I deactivated my eyes and Ichiki took her aura back, I blacked out. I woke up on my couch and murmered, "M- mom, is that you?" "Yes it is. You won th battle Osoroshi!" I then asked, "Wow, really? Where's the money" She then said, "In the wallet I got you! It's custom made to show a picture of me, you, and your father!" I could not believe I won. I was so happy.
