The morning light filtered through the curtains, waking Ka’uhane. She sits up, stretching her body then her small feathery wings, putting a hand through her orangish hair. She looks over on the large, almost luxurious bed. Smiling softly, lovingly when she saw her wife laying there, snoring pretty loudly. Her short dark brown hair frizzed up all crazy.
“Deer.” Ka’uh whispers, brushing the hair out of her face, smiling.
“Noooo.” She whines back, pulling the blanket over her head quickly, “Don’t make me get uuup!”
Ka’uh laughed, getting up off the bed, walking over to the curtains to open them. Beautiful Thermopolis looking into the window, not too busy considering how early it was.
“NO! Close the curtains!” she hissed at Ka’uh, looking out of the blanket, her bright yellow eyes angry.
“Coffee and throw?” Ka’uh smiles at her, picking up clothes off the ground, in nothing but a bra and underwear at the moment.
“Fuuuuck. Alright.” Deer grumbles, getting up, fully clothed in what she was in last night.
Ka’uh walked over to her, giving her a squishy hug, now in a cute turtleneck sweater and light blue jeggings. “Get dressed, you smell.” She let Deer go, smiling.
Deer
flipped her off, walking over to a pile of clothes on the ground.
“Actually, take a shower,
and what do you want for breakfast?” Ka’uh asked, headed towards the kitchen.
“Not hungry, and I don’t need a shower.” Deer answers, picking up a dirty shirt, stains making it more brown than white.
Ka’uh looked back with a disgusted look, “If you put that shirt on we’re over. And PLEASE take a shower you nasty bitch.”
Deer rolled her eyes, “Fine, I’ll shower.” She then went out of the room, shutting the bathroom door when she went in.
Ka’uh sighed, smiling softly, she then continued to the kitchen where she took some waffles out of the freezer and popped them into the toaster. Deer came out not too long after, sitting on the couch and turning on the news without bothering to get dressed.
“Get dressed loser.” Ka’uh slapped a warm waffle on Deer’s face from behind the couch making her growl.
“Fine, but only because I have to.” Deer grumbled, giving the waffle back to her quickly, “Not because you want me to.”
“Oh I don’t want you to, but yes there’s somebody waiting for us.” Ka’uh laughed.
“Somebody… How’re we getting rid of them?” Deer asked, picking up the same stained shirt.
Ka’uh gave her a look, Deer sighed picking up a gray hoodie instead, “We could go for a swim or we can go camping tonight.”
“First one.” Deer finished dressing in a lazy looking sweat outfit.
“Alright, wanna help me cut him?” Ka’uh asked, eating her waffle, trying to hand Deer the other one again.
“Not really, but I do want coffee so sure.” Deer went past Ka’uh out of the bedroom again, ignoring the waffle.
“You’re eating at the café.” Ka’uh said, watching Deer grab the keys by the door.
“We’ll see how that goes.” She answered with a smile.
