About 15 minutes later I was ready to check out of the hospital. “Hey Jack over here!”

“Oh!”

“Did you get what I asked?”

“Yep the flowers and the stuffed frog.”

“Thank you, do you wanna stay and see what she says?”

“Yeah sure, Good luck!”

It was about 25 minutes later and she still was not here. Although it was only 1:25 I was getting impatient. She had 5 minutes so I really needed to calm down. Maybe she wanted to be here at exactly 1:30. I waited 5 minutes then she still was not there. I waited till dark and she still was not there. So it became midnight and I left to go home to be ready for school the next day. As I woke up I realized that I had got stood up by my best friend and now I have to face her tomorrow.

At school. When I walked in and everyone was staring at me it made me uncomfortable. I couldn't stop thinking that ‘what if someone found out I got stood up by Raven Collymore, the most popular kid in the school apparently. I saw Raven laughing with her friends and as I walked by I heard my name and player so I ran to the bathroom.
