I'm standing in an empty hallway, white walls all around but no windows and I can't move any part of my body. "What is happening?", I'm kind of panicking right now. Loud foosteps approach from behind me, closer and closer, it's so quiet that that's all I can hear but I can't see who it is. My eyes are tightly shut.
The footsteps stop right behind me and everywhere is quiet again then I feel a hot breath down my neck, I can practically hear him breathing since he's so close. "I hope you won't ignore me", a familiar voice whispers in my ear, his lips brush against my ear. Chills run down my spine and my heart starts racing, faster and faster. I want to turn, I have to see him.
Don't go yet, let me look at you please!!!
*Sigh*
It's been two days and I can't get him out of my head. I caught a glimpse of him as he walked away at the restaurant. He had a beautiful smile and his body was so magnificent his shirt had a hard time staying on but it fits him really well. I haven't seen anyone with such wonderful bisceps in a long while. I have to stop thinking about him, but at this point it has become a guilty pleasure of mine thinking of what those arms would do to me if I got caught in them.
"Haah, I can't wait to get off work", I sigh, my head thrown back.
"But you just got here, I don't think Nathan would let you go so easy. Everyone knows how precious you are to him, you're the only one who can get close to him".
"Of course I am, I'm his secretary you know", I say with a scowl.
That's Teddie Grant, the least person I want to see right now. He is the gossip of the company and he knows it, he either hates me or has the hots for Nathan. Either ways I'd rather not be taking the elevator with him so early in the day.
"So why does the precious Andrew want to go home, huh? Have someone waiting for you there?". He snickers. "That can't be though, you live alone and you have been single for the past 3 years. Atleast according to you, Andrew." He smirks. I need to wipe that smug look on his face one day. I shake my head in disbelief wondering why he had to ruin my morning, I just dont need to pay him any attention.
He gets to his floor and the door opens. "Tsk, good riddance." He says as he gets off displeased that his taunts didn't work. Finally some peace and quiet in here. Now back to my day dreaming, it should help me unwind before I meet Nathan.
"What took you so long, hmm?"
Do I have to hear him whine right now. I sigh. "I am right on time sir. You're next appointment is in 15 minutes, everything is ready for you in the conference room." He stares at me intently as if trying to read my mind. "Alright. Let's go now."
*Sigh*
Today was unexpectedly hectic. Leaving at past 7 isn't ideal, I'd be getting home by 8pm at this rate. I should take a taxi, it'll be faster.
"Why are you so late?!"
I finally get home to see the person I hate the most right now waiting outside my apartment. First the rat this morning, then a very tiring day and now him. Today is just not my day, I don't even have the will to fight right now. "Just leave. I can't do this today, kay", I say shooing him away to get into my apartment.
"Just hear me out. It's for your own good I promise." He says with an expression I am not at all ready to deal with. If anything coming out of your mouth was for my own good, you would not have done that to me then.
*Sigh*
