He pointed at the goblin whose head was smashed. "Look at that! He surely had the power to crush our head if he wanted, but he didn't. He used that bat to stop us and warn us about the incoming goblins.

"However, because the goblins came out sooner than he expected, he chose to kill one of them and knock the other out. If you check your body again, you won't feel any pain."

"Eh?" The girl stopped and flinched as she instinctively touched her chest. She realized the pain had disappeared as if she wasn't hit to begin with. Though, there was still some tingling sensation on her back because the tree was different from the Bonk Bat.

"Either way, he saved us because I couldn't control myself and tried to do it here." He turned to the girl. "I want to apologize because my decision almost killed both of us. No, the goblins might do something more to you, so… I'm sorry."

The girl took a deep breath and sighed. "I guess it was our fault. I also needed to be firm when stopping you. Rather than that, let's go back. This place may get dangerous soon."
