The old man fell silent, licking his dry lips, lifted a mug of foamy drink and drank half. The bar was again filled with human voices, visitors whispering, someone arguing in a half voice.
“The medicine appeared much earlier!”
“No! That was fifteen years later!”
On the opposite side of the bar, two friends were sitting; all this time they were listening attentively to the old man's story.
“Is the old man telling the truth?”
“Yes. I have been to the Titar and heard about the rule of Sam and Suely Tiid. She was called the great mother of Titarian.”
“Now it’s clear where the inhabitants suddenly appeared on Titar. They are all from the planet Grotar.”
Two people were also sitting at a table near the entrance to the bar, one of them was the nodian Gen Bo, the other was the dark-skinned lithian Theor Mor.
“What is this story about the curse of the emperor's mother, why is this Heng so pissed off?” Asked Theor.
“This is an old story, I'll tell you later somehow. Now, excuse me, I would like to ask the old man something.” Answered Gen Bo and sat down next to the old man. Then, placing his fist in his palm, he signaled to the bartender to bring black coffee.
“You wanted to ask something young man.” Asked the old man.
“I'm more interested in why the pilgrims hid the medicine?”
“Good question!” The old man praised.
