Chapter Twelve: Natsuki

Herbology was interesting. They were put into pairs, and Natsuki was with this Ravenclaw girl named Daiyu Ren. “This is lowkey satisfying,” Daiyu said as she dug room for another seed.

“I know right, like can I make this my profession?” Natsuki said.

“Right? I mean this is top tier, like with training puppies. Wait, training puppies is so much better.”

She likes puppies. I like puppies. “I used to have this puppy named Charlington-”

Daiyu smiled. Her smile was adorable. “Charlington is such a cute name!”

Natsuki hated that name. Her brother had given it to the dog. Now, she loved it. “Yes! Anyway, that dog was impossible to train. So… from a professional, I can say that it is a hard job.” Wait, did I just crush her dreams? Why did I say that-

Daiyu laughed. “Good to know.”
