There was an island in Kalopsia, storms would plague the land for half the year; the elders believed it was cursed by the Wind God, as it was said in the legends long before it was inhabited, it was the place where the esteemed god met and lost his beloved. 

The Wind God’s beloved was a fair maiden, with the most beautiful eyes in all the land, but was blind from birth. Fearing for his daughter's safety, the old man fled the city with his daughter. The maiden’s father was a devout worshipper of the Gods; he would prostrate three times a day for the peace of his country. The Gods were moved by the old man’s faith and visited him in his dreams; they told him that the war and famine would stop if his beloved daughter was sacrificed.

But the daughter, having fallen in love with Wind God, wanted to see what he looks like. Unaware of her father’s predicament, she met a demon disguised as a merchant, who sold her a potion that would restore her eyesight in exchange for her father’s life.

That night, the father-daughter gave in to their selfish desires and killed each other unwittingly.

The Gods washed their hands clean of the situation, citing the mortals’ selfish desires; while the demons cackled with glee over the humans’ greed.

The Wind God, outraged by Gods callous demeanor over humanity, decided to wage a war against them. But the Gods thought it absurd that the Wind God would show his partiality over a mere human; humanity’s greed has shown them their demise and yet their comrade would challenge their judgment. 

This war lasted half a year before the God of the Gods decided to intervene, but the Wind God wanted to annihilate all the Gods who conspired against his beloved. 

The Wind God was stripped of his powers and was banished.'
