Some days, 

I really hate that

Society sees someone’s body,

looks at their clothes,

hears their voice…

And then decides for Themselves,

what gender that person 

Must be.

Some days,

I really hate that 

because I have a chest;

because I have a high voice,

because of the clothes I wear…

I hate that people 

Observe these things 

and Decide that I 

Must be a woman.

I am not.

I am female-presenting,

And I Love how I look.

But I hate how people see me.

I am tired of being seen a certain way,

but I don’t see why I 

should be the one to

Change my gender expression,

just to fit in with how

Society sees me.

My expression is a part of

Who I am.

So please…

Just let me be

Me.

No matter how you

see me,

or what you think 

I am…

I am just me.

I just want to be me.
