He sighed. “It was my fault in the first place…” Nick muttered to himself as he sat in the basement trapped. “If I never bought that gun…If I never met Aleksander in the first place!─” I stopped myself as a tear fell down my cheek. “If I never got jealous of Sabre and Alek falling in love…” My breath hitched feeling tears well up in my eyes. “I would never be in this situation!” He cried out to himself as he let out choked sobs.
Clap Clap Clap “What a sad sad sob story. You’re a fucking menace you selfish prick.” Alek said coldly, Nick froze and turned to him. “W-where did you─” He was cut off as Alek scoffed. “I was here the entire time listening to your sob story. Truly fucking pathetic. I can assure you that. You fucking loved me, and when I denied you because I loved Sabre you decide to kill him!? That’s fucked up.” He glared.
The whispy trail of Sabre’s spirit floated around him. “I would never forgive you,” Alek said. He fell quiet while soon enough Sabre disappeared. The tension lifted off the room as Alek looked around before unchaining Nick. “What are you doing Alek?” He asked, Alek put a finger on his lips. “Freeing you, I’m sorry about your back I was just trying to persuade Sabre I was on his side. Now c’mon, you can stay inside my house. Until Sabre comes back.”
Nick nodded and followed Aleksander upstairs. The house was gorgeous, with classic victorian era designs, and huge spaces to walk around and relax. It was like a fairytale castle. He was gonna turn to Alek but was thrown onto the couch with Alek sitting down next to him. Nick sat up to be face to face with Alek. Nick backed away from him since they were so close, Alek would only giggle and turn on the TV.
Nick felt conflicted. Alek was acting so kind to him now that Sabre was gone…but…was it all an act? He looked down lost in thought before he felt his shoulder being shaken. He looked back up to see Alek, his face twisted with concern and worry. “Hey…are you alright?” Nick nodded slowly. ‘No I’m not but you wouldn’t understand’ Nick thought to himself.
“I have something that will make you feel better,” Alek said as he giggled. “What is it─” Nick’s eyes widened as he felt a pair of lips on his. He couldn’t believe it, he wanted to pull away…but he didn’t want to at the same time. He slowly leaned into Alek’s kiss wrapping his arms around Alek’s neck. Alek slowly pulled away. “You feel better?”
Nick nodded slowly, too stunned to even speak. Alek just smiled and then left the room. Nick covered his face as his face became a dark shade of red. Aleksander loved Sabre, they were fiances even if one was dead. Alek doesn’t love Nick as well…Or did he?
