"Captain if the sun hasn't risen come back when the first seagull caws." Westley huffed as he tried to brush him away.

he was too tired for this, of course, he got stuck on the one ship where the Captian was an early riser. well, sometimes he was, it depended on what mood Erick was in the night before he went to bed. he was going to have to find a way to wear him out and make him sleep in later. 

"Come on! you'll like this! trust me!" Erick said as he swung the hammock hard almost knocking Westley out of it.

"Not the first time I've heard that and been disappointed before Captain," Westley mumbled as he got out of his bed.

he really wasn't in the mood for this but the sooner he got it over with the sooner he could get back to the sweet comforting lull of his hammock. 

"Now trust me you'll like this!" Erick said proudly as he led Westley up to the main deck.

Westley had to admit it was almost cute how excited he was to show him his surprise. It was like watching an excited puppy show off its latest prize to its master. 

"Ta-da!" Erick said as he proudly showed Wesley a huge chest full of some of the finest foods from Montport.

"By Blackbeard's beard! how did you get all this!" Westley said completely stunned by the gift.

"I got it from Montport, that's your favorite place, right? I also got a ton of those meat pies you get every time we go." Erick said showing off his splendor of foods.

"well, obviously you got it from Montport. I meant how did you afford all this!? there's so much!" Westley said as Erick smiled proudly.

"Now Wes it's not how expensive a gift is it's how much the other person enjoys it," Erick said as he pats Westley's head.

"you stole it didn't you?" Westley asked looking up at him, slightly disappointed.

"Yeah, yeah I did. however I didn't get caught so therefore it's not bad, I just borrowed it." Erick said proudly.

"Oh, what am I gonna do with you?" Westley laughed as he shook his head.

"well first you can sail the sea by my side, and second you could share some of those meat pies," Erick said as Westley smiled and handed him one.

"As you wish captain. besides theirs no better gift than one that comes from the heart." Westley said as Erick gave him a confused look.

"I thought I got it from Montport?"

"We really need to get you to lay off the rum."
