“Everyone go to your partners now,” the teacher yelled out.
I slowly made my way to Lucian, because I doubt he knows me. Then again he should know where I sit by now since everyone looked at me. I plopped down onto the seat next to him and stared at him for a moment.
“You must be Azrail,” he finally said, breaking the silence. “Incase you don’t already know I’m Lucian.”
“Ah, how could I not?” I retorted.
“Haha your a funny little one aren’t cha?” He said with a grin that sent shivers down my spine.
I quickly turned away from his gaze, and pretended to be fixated on the table in front of me.
“Well, where should we meet?” He asked.
“We can’t really meet at my place since I live with my roommate who…” I stopped. “Maybe we should meet at a café?”
“I’m not too big of a fan of public places, especially while working. It gets too loud. Would you like to come over to my place?”
“Sure that sounds fine,” I said while taking out my phone. “Put your number in here so we can work out the details later.”
“Alrighty, you’re the boss, boss,” he said sarcastically while typing in his number.
“Thanks, I’ll shoot you a text right now so you have mine too.”
“Okay, sounds goo-“ he was cut off by the teacher.
“Once you’re done, you can leave.”
I slumped down. Thank fucking god, I’m tired as hell.
“I’ll get going, text me later,” I told Lucian.
“Ok,” he said, giving me another spine-chilling grin.
I can’t be the only one who thinks his smile is insincere with something more to it, but maybe I’m just overthinking things.
