Chapter setting: Original Universe

SPOILER of the original universe

This chapter is meant to be an "extra" after the story.

The breach that connected the Heaven’s Emperor palace and the Ghost Prince’s palace was always open for Fang Li-Jun and Lei XianLiang walk into it any time they wanted, as if they were living in the same building.

And not only them.

Fang Li-Jun was with Tao Qiang discussing some things in the meeting room. Wei Li went in the morning to Lei XianLiang’s palace to pay him a visit, and they will do the same as soon as they finish their task. But the visit will be sooner than expected, apparently.

 “Your Highness!”

Fang Li-Jun recognized the ghost that was going to them: he was one of Lei XianLiang’s helpers, usually surrounded by hundred of papers.

“Your Highness, I’m so sorry for disturbing you. Please, please, don’t punish me.”

Fang Li-Jun’s eyebrow raised, confused by this words.

“Oh, Gods, I’m sorry again. I always mess the things up. I shouldn’t say that! Oh, so sorry!” The poor ghost was extremely embarrassed, bowing one time and another and another.

“What is this?” Tao Qiang murmured to Fang Li-Jun, confused.

“I- Well, Your Highness, your husband has messed the things up. Again. Oh Gods, I shouldn’t being saying this, I’m sorry!” The ghost kneeled in the ground. “There was a big explosion and then- all the city can’t stop saying what is their minds! And it is a chaos!”

“An explosion?! Is Wei Li fine?!”

“He is fine! This is not their first explosion. But they are both a big disaster together. Oh, Gods, again! I’m sorry, I’m sorry! We all love master Li, but they both together… They always end messing up! And we have to  hide it from you both. Oh Gods, oh Gods.”

“Wait what? Hide what? And how is this not their first explosion? What?” Tao Qiang frowned his eyebrow.

“Please, have mercy. I can’t tell you about the time when we had a explosion because they were trying to make a noodle that would never have an end, nor the time half of us ended sick with stomach aches because Master Li did a spicy tournament. Master Li wasn’t having a trip with our Prince when they told you they will stay out for three days, it was because they fell sick too. We all knew our Prince would end like this, but Master Li…”

“I can’t believe this two. I- Argh!”

Fang Li-Jun put a hand on Tao Qiang’s shoulder, sighing.

“Let’s go and help, Tao Qiang. We will punish them later.”

Apparently, the ghosts in the palace knew very well what to do after a explosion. That made Tao Qiang and Fang Li-Jun realized how many times Lei XianLiang almost set the palace on fire.

“You both!”

Tao Qiang shouted when he had Lei XianLiang and Wei Li on sight, the both of them murmuring things, trying to find a solution. When they saw Tao Qiang approaching, they knew they were screwed.

“Oh Gods. I hate when he is angry because I don’t want him to feel bad, but I love it too. He is so rough in the bed when he punish me, I love it.”

Fang Li-Jun didn’t even make a move, but Tao Qiang thought his head will explode, while Wei Li felt his cheeks burning a lot. Lei XianLiang ran to Fang Li-Jun, hugging him.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I really messed it up this time. I was trying to help, for real! We were trying to change a curse for using it for making people tell the truth. You know, when something serious happens and they lie and- but I don’t know what happened! I made all the city say whatever they think!”

“We will help.” Fang Li-Jun said while hugging him back.

“Thank you so so much. I always makes troubles for you, I’m such a burden.”

“…Lei Ying?” Fang Li-Jun took him by the shoulders and made him to look at his eyes. “Is that what you think”

“Yes! I mean, ah!” Lei XianLiang covered his face, embarrassed. “Please, don’t- Someone give me something to shut up!”

“You don’t know how many years I waited for you to say something like that.” Tao Qiang said.

“You always pretend you like no one, but we know you care about everyone. And that’s so sweet and hot of you.” Wei Li said again, coughing then. “We really, really need to find a solution for this. Quick.”

“We are gonna suffer your horny thoughts if not. Oh Gods, sorry Li-gege!”

“We need to focus.” Fang Li-Jun said, still hugging Lei XianLiang.

“Right, you are right. You are always right, how can you be so perfect?” Lei XianLiang covered his face. “Stop! Shh!”

Fang Li-Jun surrounded Lei XianLiang’s waist with an arm, hugging him. He couldn’t help the tiny, little smile he has on his face.

“Which curse were you trying to change?” Asked Tao Qiang, trying to make all of them focus on the task. “And how?”

They explained everything, from when they got the idea to the explosion moment. As they were already thinking on a solution before they came, they got some ideas on how to solve it.

“There is a plant that can counteract the effects of the original curse. We think that possibly it could work also with this phenomenon.” Lei XianLiang explained.

“We were about to go to buy it when you arrived. If it works, we gonna have to do medicine for the entire city.” Wei Li said.

“And the medicine effect is not immediate, it take some hours for it to make effect.”

“Let’s go then.” Fang Li-Jun said.

It was not as easy as they thought. One would think that saying everything that goes through your mind shouldn’t be a really big problem, right? But it was. Usually people would try to avoid saying bad, hurtful or problematic things, but now no one could hide their thoughts.

 “Your cooking is horrendous!”

“You always get more than me doing less!”

“I cheated on you!”

“Move your stupid shop to another place! You scare my clients!”

Half of the city were in fights -verbal or physical-, and the other half were trying to hide in their houses to avoid everyone and not saying something bad. They didn’t even have to go out of the palace to already see the people that worked on there fighting, but once in the streets it was the chaos.

“Oh my… What have I done.” Lei XianLiang looked around, surprised. “My… my people! Ey, you, stop! You both, stop!”

He ran to try to stop two of the many people fighting in there, his expression concerned. These two ghosts stopped just because it was the Ghost Prince telling them it, but they were still furious.

“Your Highness!” They both bowed to him.

“He told me he slept with my wife while we were still alive, Your Highness!!!”

“I told you it was only one night, and you weren’t supposed to know that!! It’s not my fault I’m more goodlooking than you!”

“Guys, please, this… That is in the past, you are dead now. You both can’t-“

“But maybe my son is not my son, is his!!!”

“……Well, that is shocking. But it doesn’t matter! You both are already dead, nothing can be done, so let's forget it!" Lei XianLiang smiled.

“Your Highness, I’m so sorry for what I’m about to do in your presence. YOU F-“

And they started to fight again, now with their fists. Lei XianLiang tried to stopped them again, and they did… after one of the punches landed on his face.

“Lei Ying!” Fang Li-Jun was already next to Lei XianLiang, who was strocking his cheek, now red and swallowed.

“That was a strong punch.” Wei Li murmured.

“Y-Your Highness!!! Your Highness, I’m so sorry!! It wasn’t for you!!”

“Your Highness, please, don’t punish us!!!”

Fang Li-Jun saw red at this moment. His gaze was cold and murderous. Before even he could realize, he summoned his whip on his hand, ready to strike them with it.

“Fang Jin, my dear, we agreed you have no right to use your weapons in my place.” Lei XianLiang said, trying to calm him down a bit. “Guys, don’t worry, I know you didn’t mean this. But you really have to stop if you want to help me.”

The two ghosts nodded, and Lei XianLiang sighed then, looking around one more time. It would take an eternity trying to stop all of them by himself.

“I can’t see this.” He said, closing his eyes and breathing deeply.

“Oh, oh! He is going full-cool-mood!” Wei Li said, shaking his head then. “I didn’t mean to say that, sorry!”

“So do you think Lei XianLaing summoning his ghosts is cool?” Tao Qiang asked, arching a eyebrow.

“C’mon, you can’t deny it is. It made us sweat when we had to fight again his ghosts.”

Slowly, a thick, red myst started to appear everywhere along with black figures that slowly became ghosts. Lei XianLiang’s skin was covered on ink characters that moved trough all his skin, his eyes red.

“Stop them! Don’t let them fight!” He commanded, his voice being heard as if several people spoke at the same time.

The ghosts obeyed and stopped the people that were fighting without injuring them. Lei XianLiang sighed then.

“Lei Ying…” Called Fang Li-Jun.

“We better hurry.” Said Tao Qiang.

They four run looking for the shop, arriving there in not too much time. As the ghosts were holding the people for not fighting, they weren’t physically doing it, but they could hear people shouting everywhere.

“Sorry Your Highness, but there is one ingredient I do not have for making the cure you want.”

“My city is gonna be destroyed!” Lei XianLiang pu this hands on his head, desperate. “My people are gonna kill themselves! How can they call me prince!”

“It’s not our biggest disaster, Ah-Liang, there should be a solution.” Wei Li said, patting his shoulder.

“What do you mean this is not your biggest disaster?” Tao Qiang crossed his arms.

“Where.” Lei XianLiang spoke before Wei Li could answer and tell him about more things that were best they didn’t know. “Where can we find the ingredient?”

“Well, we trade it with the Ice Kingdom.”

They could use the breach to go there for the ingredient and trying to make the cure this same day. It wasn’t this bad.

“Thank you, thank you so much. I’ll go for it and come back as soon as I can.”

“Don’t worry, Your Highness. We respect you too much for destroying ourselves after how hard you work for us.”

Lei XianLiang opened wide his eyes, and the seller just wanted the ground to eat him.

“I… I’m sorry, Your Highness, it’s-“

“I needed to hear this. Thank you.” Lei XianLiang smiled at him.

They all went out of the place and came back to the palace as fast as they could. Once there, they went to Lei XianLiang’s bedroom, where the breach was. Lei XianLiang took the key and changed the place where the other part of the breach should open, now in front of the Ice Palace. They all crossed the breach without hesitation.

The place was quiet, full of snow, ice and ice demons. Some ghosts liked to live in there too instead of the Red City. It had beautiful views, mountains covered in white.

The four of them entered the palace. A servant welcome them, and after explaining to her what was happening in the Red City, the servant went to look for the Ice Ghost.

“I always wondered if their nipples are hard all the time in here.” Lei XianLiang said. Fang Li-Jun looked at him arching a bow.

“Right? With this cold…” Wei Li replied.

“…What happens with you both.” Tao Qiang said.

“Again?”

Wu Lin was the one appearing in the place first. She had some scrolls on her hand, her eyebrows lightly frowned while looking at them.

“Again what?” Tao Qiang asked.

“Wu Lin, I’m so sorry for disturbing you and Zhou Dong. Again.”

“We are already used to it.” Wu Lin replied, looking then at the others. “Hello, everyone. Fang Jin.” Fang Li-Jun bowed a bit his head.

“Sometimes it’s weird for me they both were married.” Wei Li said, putting then a hand on his mouth.

“What?” Wu Lin looked at him arching a bow.

“Before you say anything, let me explain.” Lei XianLiang said.

He told her everything from the beginning. Wu Lin heard silently, nodding some times and shaking her head another times. She ended massaging her temple, sighing.

“I know, I know.” Lei XianLiang was laughing a bit. “What a disaster, right? But if we could have this plant…”

“I know the plant are you saying, but just now we don’t have it. We needed it for something. But we originally trade it with the Water Ghosts, so you can go and ask them.”

“Excellent! Thank you so much, Wu Lin. Always so efficient!”

“…You are welcome.” Wu Lin looked at Lei XianLiang stranged again, but then she grinned. “So, now you say whatever goes through your mind, and it's the truth, right?”

 “Yes…?”

“It was you who eat the entire cake for Zhou Dong that day?” She asked, crossing her arms.

“Yes. Ah! That’s not fair!”

“Lei XianLiang! I knew it!”

“Aiya! Wait for us!” Wei Li exclaimed.

Before she could say anything else, Lei XianLiang started to run out of the palace. The other followed then, finding the Ice King while they were almost in the breach, him entering the palace. He looked at them with his serious face and frowned eyebrows as usual.

“Hi, Zhou Dong! See you soon! Sorry for the cake thing!”

“What? Lei XianLiang, what did you do now?!”

Before he could also say anything else, they crossed the breach, back to the Red Palace. The only one patting in there was Lei XianLiang, shaking his head.

“I don’t know how you all can practice so much. I would be dead if I wasn’t already.” He said, fanning himself with his hand.

“I’m sure you do move more now than back then in the bed with His Highness.” Wei Li said.

“He does.”

Everyone looked at Fang Jin, specially Lei XianLiang, his face going red under the ink characters.

“Fang Jin!”

“I can’t with this situation. Can we go to see the Water Ghosts?” Tao Qiang said, realizing then something. “Wait… are we gonna have to go on the ship?”

“Very likely.” Lei XianLiang replied, changing one more time the place were the breach opened, now in the top of the Water Empress’s gigantic sailing ship. They all crossed the breach, appearing in there.

The ship was so big that seemed like a small town. A lot of people lived in there, and as in a town, it was divided in different “streets”. People in there were selling their products, offering services or actually working with something related to the ship. But the main thing there was that all the people in there, ghost or beast, were women.

They opened the breach in front of the Water Empress’s house, not too big compared with the palaces of the other main ghosts. Lei XianLiang knocked the door, and she herself opened.

“Well, well, well! Look who is here, Lei XianLiang! Come here and gimme a hug!” Before he could even approach her, she was already hugging him strongly.

“H-Huan Chu, you’ll break me-“ He said, laughing. “Y-You will suffocate me with your breasts!”

Everyone went silent. Huan Chu let him go, looking at him stranged.

“…What?”
