ZELLA’S POV :
My eyes snapped open.
A warm fluffy feeling was covering me. I had a warm blanket over me?
“It hurts”, said a familiar voice.
I craned my neck and looked sideways.
It was Grey.
“What does?” I asked.
“My chest-” he suddenly stopped as the tension from his neck disappeared and a series of emotions flashed on his face in a split second.
Surprise. Disbelief. Relief. Happiness.
He sat still looking at me.
“Hey! Are you okay-?”
He flung himself at me.
“You’re awake!” He said, gladly.
“Yes, I am. You didn’t think that you’d get rid of me that easily right?”
“No of course not. You’re like a cockroach.”
“Hey! Are you picking a fight?” I asked, pushing him off.
“I’m glad that you woke up,” he said, smiling a rare smile.
“W-well, whatever.”
That surprised me.
“What happened? How did you wake up?” He asked.
“I have no idea- wait. Where is Phoebe and Mr Delphi?”
Damn it. I was supposed to protect Phoebe. If I’m the only one who made it back then I wouldn’t know how to live with myself. I cannot imagine them stuck there, alone.
Having no company other than each other.
And the last thing that I heard Phoebe say still weighed on my mind.
“Thank you… sister.”
“Phoebe and Mr Delphi? How do you know them?” Grey asked, puzzled.
“I met them there. In oblivion.”
“I see. Did you find others too?”
“No, the others were asleep-”
BEEP.
What’s going on now? What is this sound?
Before I could ask, Grey said, “We have reached… World Zero.”
