Two days later

Bzzz…Bzzz…Bzzz, “Hello?” I said while yawning. “Hi…We tried reaching you on the radio but it wouldn’t go through”. “Must be the CEO” - Aithen. “Aithen get ready there's an urgent mission you’ll need to do”. 

“On my day off?”

“You don’t get days off”

“True, Okay I’ll get everyone ready”

I hung up and got ready, I really wanted this to be a day without any mission’s but sadly it won’t be the case.

“Hey John can you get everyone ready? We have an important mission to do. “Yeah yeah fine” John replied and he walked off.

Now I have to tell everyone about the mission.

After a few minutes everyone came out. “Good morning Elixium, I got a call from who I assume is the CEO and he gave us an urgent mission, I don’t know the details just yet but he’ll notify me when we’re in the helicopter.”

In the corner of my eye I noticed the beacon once again…It seemed to be getting closer but I’m not so sure…”Suspicious how it’s there when we are on an important mission” but I ultimately shrugged it off.

Walking into the weapons room I get my guns. The HeartStomper and my sniper which I don’t even use “Why do I even have it?“ -Aithen. After I grabbed it I walked out of the door,  “every time I’m here I get crazy deja vu” -Aithen.

Eventually everyone got their weapons and equipment ready. My Radio still makes the annoying sound “Right everyone we’re leaving now if you're not ready then oh well you’ll die” I told everyone. “Why do I feel like I’ve said that already?” -Aithen.

The CEO came on the radio and told me the details. “The Withers Special Squad has been attacked by some unknown zombie and are currently trapped in a warehouse…You and the rest of Elixium will go in rescue them and join forces to kill this blizzare zombie”

“What?…Is this the “rank upgrade” you gave us about this mission?”

“In some aspects yes…I have to go now”

Great…We have to rescue them even though they're a “higher rank” than us?.

“Okay, Elixium the CEO told me what the mission is about. The Withers team has been captured and it’s our job to find them and kill the zombies around there…I think the strong zombie’s we encountered at the Facility are the reason” I told Elixium.

The helicopter flew down signifying the mission is ready to go and we all hopped on. The roaring blades were loud and John never seems like he has fun on these helicopters.

We had reached the closest the helicopter could take us but we still needed to walk 3 miles on foot to reach the place.

“Can we just get on with it?” John complained. “We literally just got here stop complaining” I replied.

I hopped off and began our long trek, after sometime Jake started complaining “My legs are soo tired” Said Jake…”We walk so often how on earth do you get tired?” John asked. “I dunno, guess the break we had killed me” Jake said back.

I stayed quiet because my legs are aching sluightl;y too…On my break all I did was sit around for the duration of it.

We had reached Crown Garden Park which is roughly a quarter way to the Warehouse.

Inside Crown Garden Park there were several zombies, I shot at one of them and they all looked at me, strangely they looked coordinated and seemed to have a strategy but they were weak like regular zombies.

“You think this is because of the strong zombies we found at the Facility?” I asked…”100%” Jake said back.
