She felt her body heavier than ever, as she opened her eyes, she wasn’t able to see anything in that darkness that surrounded her. As if something was holding her back, she felt afraid. She tried to call for someone, but there wasn’t anyone to hear her, nor to save her.
‘You’ve cherished your dreams more than your life, and for what, Yu Na? You’ve abandoned your family, your school, all of those for that foolish dream of yours, and look what happened. You’ve lost it. I can see your despair in your eyes.’ spoke someone, but Yu Na couldn’t see their face in the dark
‘How sad has to be your life to resume such words? If you state that you know me so well, then you know that my dreams won’t be stopped, I’ve come so far and nothing won’t stop me.’ replied Yu Na to that person
The shadow let out a loud laugh, then proceeded to reply one more time.
‘How do you think you’ll be able to accomplish your dream if you’re dead?’
Then, in front of Yu Na’s eyes flashed the event that unfolded at their concert and, right before the gun fired, she opened her eyes, but this time she saw a bright light. She was covered in sweat and her heart was beating fast. The room was one that she didn’t recall knowing. She felt a sharp pain that made her ache. Her memory was a blur as she tried to recall what happened last night.
‘You’re finally awake. I was waiting for you.’ replied a man that was in the same room with her, standing at a desk, looking like he was writing something
As Yu Na looked at the man, the memories from the last night became clearer. She remembered that she was running, she was chased by someone, yet she didn’t know why. She was on a stage, she had a concert, how did she manage to be in such a situation.
Then, she remembered that she jumped from a cliff and fell into the water. She remembered that she was about to drown when someone pulled her out of the water. Then, she saw his face, the man that was in the same room with her, he was the one that saved her.
‘Do you want to live?’ asked the man as Yu Na nodded her head. ‘I’ll help you.’
The man helped her get out of the water and before they started to run, he took a book from the ground and hid it in his clothes. And like that, they vanished into the darkness of the night, leaving behind the guards that were looking for the girl.
‘There’s no place for her to hide for too long. With her wounds, we’ll be able to find her quickly when the sun rises. Let’s head back and report’ replied one of the guards
Then the memory stopped and Yu Na had to face reality. She was in a place unknown to her, in a time that she didn’t know about, surrounded by people new to her, all of those while not knowing what happened to her real life. She was brought to reality by the man that saved her. He closed the book that he was writing on and approached the girl. He kneeled down in front of her and put his hand on her face, looking at her wounds.
‘I’m so eager to find out the story behind those bad wounds that you had on this beautiful face. Since your fate collided into mine, I’m wondering what story unfolded last night?
