We headed back towards the house when the sun started to set. We walked slowly back talking about our new plan to fight back. When we got closer to the house there was a red and orange tinge to the sky, but it was not from the setting sun, that was behind us this was different. We could sense danger. We wanted to help, but we knew just the four of us could not fight what was at the house. We turned and ran back the way we came, and stopped in the clearing. Without having to discuss it we used our Earth element to create a shelter for us, and our Fire to keep us warm during the night.

We didn't sleep that night, or many of the nights after. We were too afraid that we would be found, that they would know we hadn't been in the house and come after us. We didn't get our first good night's sleep until we reached the end of our country. We bought passage on the first ship we found to the next Continent. We were aboard the ship for many weeks. We slept peacefully after the first week. When we finally made it to land again, and we stepped off the ship the world around us looked vastly different than back home. The trees looked smaller, and they looked like different kinds, not just one kind like we have. The roadways on this land were paved with what looked like tiny rocks pressed tightly together.

We walked aimlessly not knowing where to go in this new place. We didn't even see any forest areas close by that we could have slept in. We walked for many miles before we spotted a building called a motel. Figuring it must be like the taverns back home we went in to get a room. While on the ship they took our country's currency and handed us each a thick stack of bills with numbers on them. We were told that this is the currency for this country. We asked for a single room with two beds, wanting to stay together in this weird new place. I paid for the room for a full moon cycle. Here they are called months.

We accepted our room keys and went in search of our room. This place was strange. Every door had a number on it, so we looked for the number on our key. Once inside we realized that we were hungry. We once again ventured out into this new place in search of food. It didn't take long to find a place to buy food, then we headed straight back to our room and placed the food we were not going to eat right away in the fridge in the room. We sat on each bed already having decided to sleep next to our betrotheds.

It was strange to sleep in a bed again, after many moons under the stars. It was almost hard to fall asleep, but at the same time it was easy. The beds were soft unlike the ground had been, so it was easy to relax, but being in a strange place made it hard to relax. The strange sounds of this new place kept us awake for most of the night, but we woke in the morning somewhat refreshed. We didn't want to get lost in this place, but if we wanted to survive here we needed to learn our way around this new place. We started out small and walked the area around where the motel was located. Then the next day we went out a little farther and farther each day. By the end of the month we knew the whole town. We paid for another two months at the motel. We knew the place now and felt safe here for now, but we needed to find a wooded or secluded place to practice the elements. 

We needed to keep using our gifts in order for them to grow stronger. We needed the strength that we have together in order to fight the evil trying to take over our home, our world, they were probably already on this Continent. I don't think they are though. They will conquer our home before coming here. Our people are strong, and even without their leaders they would fight for as long as they can. They will fight for us. The only rulers they have now. Our people will know in their hearts that we live and will come free them from the evil trying to take over. We will not abandon our people. If we must, I will kill the evil, I will not let it take my people.

By the end of the second month we moved on to the next town, this one is surrounded by trees. They go deep, and there is no other living soul for miles. We used Earth Magick to make shelter for us, and Fire Magick to stay warm. We even combined Earth and Air Magick to make comfortable beds. Now being in the woods we could practice and grow in strength, together it almost seemed as if our energy pool was bottomless. We have been using Spirit Magick for five hours now and none of us are feeling weak, tired or drained in any way. We stopped for tonight, and slept. We wanted to go back to save our people, but we need to be stronger. Just because we were able to do it for five hours, didn't mean that it would be enough to defeat the evil. That ment that we may need to be away for a long time. We needed to practice on our own, separately. We know we are strong together, but we need to be strong apart. If we are not then we are weak, we can't be weak. Our power alone is great. We can use our Magick for about an hour or so, but it is not as great as if we are together, and I know I may have said this before, but together it feels as if our energy pools or Magick pool if you prefer intertwine together and becomes one, or maybe the only power that combines is the power of ours with our mates. I don't know.
