The first tower wasn’t anything magnificent. It was a tall, thin structure with what looked like an observation deck towards the top before coming to a point at the top. What was more imposing was the guard stationed in front. The being was large with the body of a man. However, its face resembled an octopus with tendrils stemming out above its mouth. In place of arms were beefy tentacles. Its large eyes leered at the party and Georgia felt a shiver run down her spine as its eyes rove over her.
When it spoke, its voice was deep, raspy, and ethereal. “Turn back now. No one is allowed here.”
Georgia inadvertently clung to Virgil. “We don’t mean any disrespect. I’m Georgia. I’m playing a game with Luci. These are my friends. We just want to search the tower.”
The creature scoffed. “Game or no game, no one is allowed in.”
“Not even your boss?”
“They are the exception.”
“Well then it stands to reason they could be hiding in there. Doesn’t seem very fair that they could be hiding in there and I don’t even get the chance to see for myself.”
The guard was silent for a moment seemingly in deep contemplation. "The Master wouldn't hide in a place off limits. I cannot let you enter."
"Look, we're talking about the devil here. Master of trickery. You mean to tell me it's not even a little believable they may hide here. I mean no disrespect to you. I understand you have a job to do, but my future depends on this."
The creature let out a deep sigh causing its facial tendrils to twitch. "Alright human. Only you and the game master may enter with my escort. The others remain."
Georgia instinctively extended her hand only for it to be grasped by the guard's cold tentacle. She did her best not to recoil in disgust. "We have a deal."
The inside of the tower was comprised of an endless spiral of glass stairs. Georgia regretted skipping out on regular exercise. There were several times she wanted to stop to catch her breath, but Virgil and the guard seemed unphased by the vigorous climb. She wasn't prepared for the endless cardio Hell was forcing on her. Just as total exhaustion was creeping in, they reached the observation deck.
There was another man like creature sitting in front of what appeared to be a control board. This one was of smaller stature with an iguana head and hands. Its body was covered in scales. Its eyes widened in alarm at their presence.
"Humans?! What the hell are humans doing here?! No one is allowed!" It hissed.
The other guard crossed his arms. “This is the human playing the game with The Master. She insisted on looking around.”
“So easily swayed.” The reptilian man mocked.
Growing tired of all the back and forth, Georgia interjected. “As I was telling your colleague I mean no disrespect. I just want to take a quick look and leave. Promise.”
The reptilian man crossed his arms. “Your promises mean nothing to me, human. But in the interest of fairness, you can look around.”
“Thank you.”
To Georgia’s dismay, there was a lack of things to investigate. There were monitors displaying various parts of the level. They were clearly surveilling something out there, but Georgia wasn’t sure what.
Aside from that, there were various consoles with different controls. It reminded her something she would see in a recording studio. Nothing was clearly labeled though, and Georgia couldn't outright ask what each button and lever was for. She didn't know if Virgil knew, but it’s not like he could tell her. It was times like these Georgia wished she took up engineering instead of music.
"What is this place anyway? There's more than one isn’t there?"
"You're an awfully nosy human." The reptilian replied.
Georgia shrugged. "I'd say curious. Isn't it good to know things?"
"Not things that are none of your business. As you can see The Master isn't here. Leave!" He hissed.
Georgia lifted both her hands in surrender as she headed towards the stairs with Virgil and the cephalopod guard in toe.

The group was met with the same at the other towers. It was clear they were hiding a secret, but it wasn't clear what. The only thing they could do is hide out and see exactly what was going on. To Georgia’s dismay, they didn’t see anything. Eventually another tornado did spawn followed by another a few hours later but no one seemed sure how.
“I think this is one mystery we aren’t able to solve. Apologies, Finn.” Drusilla sighed.
“We can’t give up that easy! They’re forming somehow.” Finn argued.
“How long do you expect us to stay and figure it out?”
“You got anything better to do?” Virgil asked.
Drusilla shot him a dirty look and opened her mouth to retort, but Old Verge interrupted. “Now, now. It is the young miss game to play, and she should be allowed to play as she would like. Within Virgil’s bounds of course.”
Everyone looked to Georgia. "I mean, I know it's Hell but why not try to stop it if we can?"
"But Miss Georgia it doesn't seem like we can. There's nothing." Drusilla argued.
"There has to be something. We just can't see it."
“What did the insides look like again? Maybe we can go from there.” Finn asked.
“The towers are clearly some type of control center. They’ve got the whole level surveillanced. It kinda reminded of like a DJ booth though. Like some of the knobs and levers looked something you see in a recording studio.” Georgia replied.
“Recording studio, eh? Are they structured all the same way?” Finn asked.
Georgia nodded. “Yep.”
“Do you think we can get back inside one with me with you? I have a theory, but I can’t be sure unless I see for meself.”
“It’s worth a shot.”
It took some convincing, mainly heavy flirting on Drusilla’s and Georgia’s part, but they managed to get the guards from the third tower to let Georgia, Finn, and Virgil back inside. When they came out Finn smiled like a Cheshire cat. “I’ve got it.”

Turns out the towers were controlling the weather, just not in the way they thought. They weren’t individually forming tornados and higher winds. Instead, they were admitting radio waves that when meeting formed them. All they had to do was overload the systems causing them to break. This was something easy for Georgia to do. If she learned anything from living in the modern age, it was the more inconvenience by the truth people were, the more riled up they would be.
Georgia and the others took to letting the other people on the level know about the towers and their purpose. Some didn’t believe them, but there were plenty that did to rally behind their cause. They split into four different mobs surrounding the towers. The commotion was enough to cause the guards to come out and for Georgia and Finn to sneak inside. They turned the waves up as high as they could and overloaded the systems to stop the functionality. The angry mob took care of the rest.
When the last tower fell, Finn and Georgia found themselves surrounded by a sea of cheering people. Finn raised her arm up in triumph. “Cheers for the Heroine of Hell!”
“To the Heroine of Hell!”
