They walk into the kitchen. Joseph watches as he heads upstairs. Her and Kyle make some tea and sit across from each other.

“So Kyle, I want to ask a favor of you,” Marie comments and he looks at her as he takes a sip of tea, “I need you to find a wolf for me.”

“Why,” He asks, confused.

“I just wish to speak to him,” She answers as she holds her tea cup.

“Okay. So, what’s the wolf’s name,” He asks curiously and taking another sip of tea.

“It’s Victor,” She answers with a hint of a smile in her eyes and he nearly spits his tea out, “What?”

“Victor is the alpha of my pack,” He answers in shock.

“Ah, then I’ll be excited to meet him,” She comments with a soft chuckle.

“Why,” He asks as she sips on her tea.

“I knew him and saved him when he was still a pup like you,” She answers with a hint of remembrance in her voice and he looks at her in shock.

“What did you save him from,” He asks after getting over his shock.

“That’s a tale for him to tell,” She answers vaguely.

“I can try to  get him here tonight,” He comments while looking at his tea cup.

“Let’s wait til tomorrow. Let everyone rest for now,” Marie comments while sipping her tea. He nods with a sigh.

“So, movie and pizza night,” He questions curiously.

“Yeah. I started it after our dad left. It helps since our mom is never home,” Marie comments with a sigh.

“So, you have been taking care of things for a while then,” Kyle questions while looking at Marie.

“Yeah. I think it’s going on 7 years now. Alex and Chrissy were 8. Katty was 7 and Derek was 6 when it happened,” She comments with sadness shining through her eyes.

“Why is your mother never home,” He asks curiously.

“She is either at work, on a date, or at a hotel with some guy,” She answers with a sigh, “And when she is home she is either sleeping or drunk.”

“I’m sorry to hear that,” He whispers as he looks at this tea.

“Why are you sorry,” She asks while looking at him confused.

“That that happened and you basically raising your siblings,” He comments with empathy showing in his eyes.

“Don’t be. They turned out well, right,” Marie comments with a half smile.

“They all have from what I can see,” Kyle comments with a smile.

“I’m glad to hear that,” She comments with a weak smile. They sit in comfortable silence for a while until they hear something walking around outside. They look at each other then they follow the sound. They see a large black wolf standing in the middle of the old garden. Marie sighs in irritation.

“Fuck on movie night,” She slightly whines. The wolf steps closer and Kyle steps in front of Marie.

‘Victor,’ Kyle calls mentally to the wolf.

‘How dare you address me so,’ Victor growls lowly.

‘She told me how she saved you,’ Kyle comments quickly and Victor freezes for a second.

‘That was her,’ He says in shock.

‘Come back tomorrow,’ Kyle comments with a sigh and Victor gives a small nod. The wolf then quickly leaves and Marie looks at Kyle. Victor then quickly leaves and Marie looks at Kyle.

“I’m guessing that you knew that wolf,” She questions with a chuckle.

“That was Victor,” He answers with a soft chuckle.

“Well, I saw his form now,” She says softly with a chuckle.

“You’ve never seen it,” He asks confusedly and she shakes his head no. They head back inside and they head into the living room. Marie helps Kyle get snuggled up to Derek. She then goes back to the chair and curls up in it. She then sleeps peacefully through the night. She wakes to see no one in the living room. She rubs her eyes and starts to smell someone cooking in the kitchen.
