Blade wrapped a towel around his waist and went to clean his clothes. The blood stench would attract attention from other people and wild animals. He didn't have to deal with such tedious things so he made sure to thoroughly wash it. He hung it outside on the balcony and returned inside.
*growl ~ *
Blade's stomach reminded him that he has not eaten since last night's dinner. He opened the fridge and saw that there wasn't much left inside. He scanned the kitchen and grabbed an apple from the fruit basket.
'I'm used to eating this little. This is better than the food they gave anyways.'
The night passed with nothing eventful.

The warmth of the sunlight woke Blade. He rubbed his eyes and headed to grab his clothes. After he wore his clothes, he found a bag from Thana's room and put the remaining fruits inside. Blade stood in front of the door for a while being turning around.
"I'll be leaving now," Blade mumbled.
He turned to face the door and turned the doorknob.

Blade sprinted as fast as he could, to the house of that elderly woman. A cloud of dirt followed behind him. Leaves rustled and the wind brushed past Blade's face. He did not stop to take a break as he wanted to get there as soon as possible.
Two hours passed and Blade could finally see the house. He slowed down and smiled. Blade stood in front of the door and knocked.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
There was no reply. Blade knocked again.
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
There was still no reply. Blade's heart dropped and his stomach was in knots. His palm was covered in a cold sweat. He lifted his hand to knock again but froze. For some reason, he couldn't bring himself to knock again. Blade opened his mouth, attempting to ask if anyone was there. However, no words came out.
'Why do I feel this unpleasant?'

Blade straightened his posture. Footsteps were coming towards him. He readied his hand to take out his dagger from his waist.

When they were right behind Blade, he took out his dagger and immediately turned to hold it close to their throat.
"Hoho… How lively."
