Back at the house many of them were basically doing their own thing but Amelia came to join them all together.

"Guys, do you think that what Jenna said is a lie?"

"What do you mean?" Courtney asks, playing with Emma's hair on the couch.

"Well it doesn't seem like Lyla has a family emergency that she actually goes to."

"She does go to them." Mel pipes up. "Her family is very important to her and when she is needed she goes, it started after her grandma died."

"Wasn't that three years ago though?" Lin asks.

"Yeah but she wanted to be there for her family, especially for her mom since she had taken it hard."

"Oh.."

"Has she come out to the rest of her family?" Lizzy asks, playing with Sugar, Courtney and Emma's white cat.

"Not that I know of, from what I know and what she's told me, they don't know but they've been nagging her about a boyfriend since she was fifteen."

"Damn that just sucks." Emma pauses her game, propping herself up a bit.

"Well then maybe we should just go out on the town, it's not like we have anything better to do." Alice pitches, looking up from her phone.

"Then let's go, I'll get the car started." Courtney shifts herself and lets Emma be propped up against the couch as she goes to get the car started. The rest get themselves sorted and go out to the garage to get into the van.
