A fountain of blood is all that I see from Danna’s right hand as she tried covering it with her other hand. The other two looked just as flabbergasted as me, dumbfounded about what just occurred. “Damn it! He just had to be here!” Danna cursed underneath her breath as she glared at the direction behind me.
A man rushed towards me. He was wearing golden circle framed glasses, dark green hair with grayish streaks and sky blue eyes. I noticed that he was wearing a beautiful pin on the collar of his clothes. He glanced at me and a sour expression appeared on his face and looked at the girls in front of me.
“This is a violation. Assault is strictly forbidden as well as using Astral to harm another. I’m giving you two choices, leave or face the consequences of violating two major rules of Sylmia.” He stated with a very domineering voice that almost made me say ‘I’ll leave now’ even if I was not the person he’s talking with.
“Tch, I’m not done with you.” Danna whispered to me before leaving the both of us in the now empty hallway. “Haaahhhhhh….” I sighed in relief while clasping my chest to calm myself. “Do you have any major injuries aside from the visible ones on your face?” He asked in a gentle manner as he pulled my luggage.
“I don’t. Actually, does this place have a clinic of some sort so I can at least disinfect my cuts?” I asked as I covered the cuts on my wrist with a handkerchief. The guy glanced at me and gently smiled. “That’s where we’re going, we don’t want you going around in that state.” He chuckled and started walking so I followed and walked behind him.
Somehow, it feels so comforting having him around that I didn’t even notice that we had already arrived at our destination, which is the clinic. He opened the door for me and mouthed ‘lady’s first’ which made me smile. A woman in a doctor’s outfit went out of the room and greeted us. She has long braided darkish orange hair that went down to her waist.
“Hello dear~ you don’t look like you would start a fight, what happened to your face and wrist?” She asked and prompted me to sit on the empty bed. “I myself don’t know why I got caught up in something troublesome. Do you have any disinfectant, miss?” I scanned the room for medicines and such but all I saw were a few garments, bandages and patches which made me ask. “You’re very funny! Hahahahaha! Sorry about that. Hold still.” The nurse placed her hand in front of me and it started glowing in light green hues.
“There! Good as new! You look very pretty as well.” The nurse complimented me, which made me blush. I forgot that this institute doesn’t need any medicine as long as they have a magical mender. “Thank you very much, miss! By the way, can I ask you a favor?” I asked the nurse with a pleading face and she smiled at me.
“‘Miss’ sounds so formal, you can just call me Nurse Michiko. Can I hear the favor first so that I’ll know whether I can do it or not?” Nurse Michiko replied, waiting for my response. “Oh, I just wanna know where the front office is, I have to get the key to my dorm.” Her face turned towards the guy beside me who has been holding my luggage for a while now. “If you wanna ask for directions, Zerickson here is a better choice because he’s from the student council.” She pointed at the guy beside me.
“Wait, so you’re the transfer student?” Zerickson asked in confusion. “Right. That is the reason why I have such a big luggage with me.” I explained and pointed at the thing he’s holding. “Like, for real? Because I was on my way earlier to give the keys to a transfer student when we met in the hallway. I didn’t expect the transfer student to be a girl.” He reached into his pocket and showed me a key with a number tag reading 506.
“That’s great! Now I can rest easy–” “You’re sharing a room with a guy though? And it just so happens that I know him well.” He didn’t give me the key and instead put it back inside his pockets. I was about to ask him to hand it over to me but I was interrupted when the door of the clinic suddenly opened.
“Nurse Mich, I want something hot to warm me.” A guy with silver blue hair in mullets entered the door but his tracks halted as soon as he saw me. His eyes widened, almost as if he saw a ghost and started walking towards me. He stopped when he was only a meter away from me and bit his lower lip as he spouted words that I have never thought I’d hear in my life.
“Are you haunting me?”
