I walked down the corridors of the hospital that use to be hell, walls lined with different person-sized cages with bloodied numbers marked above them on the walls. Floor covered in dirt and dust, spider web consuming slowly consuming the cages and walls. I continued to walk yet when I turned the corner the corridor... shifted. For a split second it looked like a school corridor, but the painful memory immediately consumed it as someone walked out one of the hospital rooms, holding a gun... I remember him. After blinking just once, I was now in a completely different place, one so much cleaner than the old hospital... it was the infirmary in the Threat Wing of Hell's Palace. I was sitting on the bed as a tall woman of warm ivory skin, brown hair and dark brown eyes, she was dressed quite nicely as if she was expected to. She pulled a chair over beside me, along with a bowl of... water? and bandages. "My name is Rochelle Burns... do you know where you are?" she asked "Hell" I answered "Good. Satan has decided that you'll now officially go by the name 'Death' throughout Hell, he's taken in consideration that you wish to forget your human past... is that right?" Rochelle asked another question and of course I answered. "Yes" "Good, then let's start getting rid of it" she said, putting on a pair of gloves before pulled out a cloth "This is gonna hurt a bit" Rochelle warned as she dipped the cloth into the water and went to the foot with the number 'nine' carved into it. I hissed in pain as she ran the cloth along the bottom of my foot... it burned a lot and there was blood running down my foot "The fuck was that?" I snapped, gripping onto the edge of the bed "Holy water" Rochelle answered as she gently cleaned my foot with thankfully normal crap that only stings a little. "You're a demon now, you have your weaknesses, that includes holy water" Rochelle explained as she wrapped up my foot with a thin layer of bandages "And we are going to teach you everything we know"....

I flinched a bit as Leo nudged my leg with his foot "Mid to Death, you there?" he questioned as I rubbed my eyes "You spaced out there for a second" Leo said as I looked around the room I was currently in. I'm in the boys' living room sitting on one end of the couch closest to the door. Leo sat adjacent on the other couch with Gamer next to him, Anti sat on the other end on the couch I was on with Dark in the middle. Noah, Wilford and Chase were sitting over at the dinning table, and Alex and Broody were sitting on the ground either leaning against a couch or hunched over the coffee table in-between the couches. Now I remember- we're studying for the human studies test at the end of the term... we've been doing this for three weeks now ever since Erik gave all of us guys that stupid bet. I placed the textbook I was holding down on the coffee table "I'm done" I said, going to stand up until I got a 'comment' from someone "You're gonna get less than ninety percent if you stop" Broody told me, not bothering to lift his own head up to look at me "Who cares" I said, rolling my eyes... everyone looked at me as if I was crazy... except for Gamer who didn't exactly care either. "This is about proving Erik wrong-" "No, it isn't" I interrupted Wilford "This is just because you want the 'reward' Erik's gonna give to those who pass ninety percent" I said, looking around the room "I'm not studying for this stupid test anymore- it's just fucking common sense... just like a driving test" I told them. "Those who were human before should easily be able to pass-" "Not everyone remembers or kept interest in human life, Death" Dark 'reminded' me as he put his own book down "They're all studying this hard because they haven't paying that much attention to Erik's lessons weeks before" Leo chimed in, earning a few glares from most of the guys yet showing no care for what he had said. And yet... he was right.
Gamer's phone started to ring, so he answered his phone "Hello- wait give me a sec" he told the person on the other end as he got up and left the room. "Who's he talking to?" Dark questioned "Most likely Ares" I answered, folding my arms "Ares?... Ares Bloodworth?" Anti questioned, eyes widening a bit in disbelief "Yes-" "Gamer's friends with an overlord?!" Chase exclaimed from the table as Leo rolled his eyes "Since when?" Dark asked me "Welcome Home Week last year" I told him. "And this... doesn't bug you one bit?" Leo questioned "Yes, but I caught a fucking lecture about it from Gamer himself" I said "So I've got to learn to accept the fact he's friends with that fucking prick".

I walked out onto the veranda of the dorm house, bringing the phone back up to my ear as I leaned against the railing "Alright, I'm outside now" I said "You really like keeping our phone conversations secret, don't you?" Ares' voice said on the other end "Well that and I don't want Death of all people to overhear" I heard a bit of a laugh escape Ares' lips after I finished my sentence. "Alright, I actually value my privacy" "Truth is better than the excuse you used before" Ares' laughed as I rolled my eyes, holding back a laugh of my own "What's with you ripper demons and truth?" I questioned, smile seeping through "Not sure, probably a kink or something-" "Okay, now you're talking like Prince, Lali and Kitten" I told him "Sorry, forgot I'm suppose to 'behave' when on the phone". I couldn't help but laugh a bit "Seriously though, it's nice to have another friend, especially one like you" Ares' stated "Yeah, it's nice to not have to lie so much-" "And at least you no longer have to 'pretend' to be a girl" "Hey!" I laughed, hearing Ares' calming laugh on the other end. Ever since Open Day, me and Ares have been talking more over the phone either video or normal call... it's really nice not having to hide the truth all the time "I didn't know you could run so fast nor shadow-walk that quickly before that day" Ares said "Yeah, didn't I mention I was trained by the royals? I'm even faster than Mike" "No fucking way" Ares laughed. I laughed a bit too, but him mentioning that day... something bugged me a lot. "Ares, on Open Day when I ran off... did you see the woman standing in the corridor?" I hesitantly asked "Uh... no? that side of the building was empty that day" Ares answered as I froze up... who the fuck was I talking to then?! A person with teleportation powers? a killen or Grey Army soldier? a shadling? like I'd be able to tell- for all I know, it could've been another student trying to play a stupid prank on me.
But... she grabbed my right wrist, her grip harsh and dead cold as she glared at me with bright yellow eyes, black face mask covering the lower half of her face. "The fallen and rejected must have their shadow, help him!" the woman snapped "Let go of me-" "Help the man who haunts the land of dreams, kill the one who controls your magic- I swear your wishes and desires will be fulfilled!" she begged... she seemed so desperate for me to hear what she had to say- she said everything so harshly and fast, but begging seemed to push it a little too far. Whoever it was, they knew about the creep from my nightmare... and that kind of bugs me a little more. "Gamer? everything alright?" Ares asked as a sickly worried feeling started to consume me "Sorry- I need to go, now" "Alright, bye-" I hung up on him, shoving my phone into my pocket as I opened the front door "Death!".

Haruka walked out of her room, going for another walk through the killen base to ease her boredom until she walked pass the door to the command room "You should consider 'ungrounding' Haruka" she heard Naila's voice say on the other side of the door "It'll be wise to now rather than carrying on the punishment, she knows what she has done wrong now" Naila's voice continued to bargain yet it was no use. Haruka pressed her ear up against the door to hear the muffled conversation better "She only has three weeks of punishment left-" "Yes Naila, three weeks" John's voice interrupted "Haruka can survive three more weeks, it's not like every mission revolves around her" John stated as Haruka's eyes filled with anger. "A Terna torture demon such as her isn't worth anything to anyone but cannibals back in G.K" John continued "She's a threat to anyone who's near her, she's got horrid attitude and is obviously not ready to even kill Death himself" John's words were making Haruka angrier by the second. "All this time spent and she isn't spending it well- she could've been passing the time by training and improving herself yet she did what any other person exactly like her would do" John said as Haruka bit her tongue "She became fucking lazy and used the punishment as an excuse to do shit all... either she picks up her act now or she's never going on another mission again". At that point, Haruka heard enough, storming off down the corridor... a horrid idea consuming her mind.
Haruka walked down a few more corridors until walking into the base's infirmary which for her was luckily empty. She looked around before her eyes landed on a cupboard. Haruka walked over to the cupboard, bent down and hesitantly opened it before reaching inside and pulled out something. She quietly closed the cupboard, standing back up as her heart beated a little faster, the monster instinct within her getting dangerously excited as she nervously stared at the item now in her hand.

I rolled my eyes, looking over at the door as I heard Gamer call out to me "Yes emo?" I said as Leo lifted his own head up. "Death, there's-" as soon as Gamer walked into the room, his eyes flickered... between red and... bright blue? before fading back to their normal sky blue as he stumbled a bit. "Gamer!" I rushed over to him, the others only just now lifting their heads up as Gamer leaned against the doorframe for balance "Game, you alright?" I asked as he looked up at me, eyes full of worry. "Game...?" my voice hung in the air unanswered as he struggled with words until a few seconds later, I finally got an answer "Something... bad is about to happen- I don't know what, but it's a really bad feeling" he quietly told me with a worried and scared voice.

Haruka quickly walked down several corridors, hiding up against walls to avoid different soldiers and killens before she managed to reach her room. She walked into her room backwards to make sure no one was following or watching her before closing the door and locking it, turning around to fortunately find the room empty. Haruka took a few steps into the room, now standing in the middle of the room as she looked down at the blood bag she had stolen from the infirmary. Haruka ripped off the small plug used for the closing of the bag and let it drop onto the floor... she then hesitantly brought the blood bag to her lips and once a drop of the blood within the bag, her eyes hungrily glowed red. She immediately drank more, her arms and hands blackened along with her eyes glowing a brighter red as she drank.
