Aren was surprised at this sound, as last time the voice was heard, it said ‘No further instruction shall be given.’
But then again, this was simply its name, Titan of Chaos. Apparently, a legendary monster, although he was not sure exactly how strong this meant. But despite the many uncertainties, Aren blasted forward.
He crossed the remaining distance in an instant, launching a full power punch, his body rotating like a well-oiled machine.
BANG!
His fist connected with the Titan’s foot, and a shudder ran through it. This punch had enough power to fell a skyscraper. But to Aren’s horror, it did literally nothing. He continued launching a barrage of full-power punches and kicks, but they did zero damage. It seemed like a futile effort, but Aren persisted.
He jumped up into the air, thinking that perhaps the monster’s head area would be weaker. He landed on its shoulder, and once again blasted forward, Striking the side of the Titan’s head. This time, its massive head snapped to the side. Stumbling, it caused small tremors all around.
It seemed that the head was indeed a weakness. Aren continued on with his hits, but still, these seemed to be merely an annoyance for the creature.
And then, it raised its hand and flicked Aren. A simple flick, and yet he could feel every single bone in his body nearly breaking, had it been any stronger they all would have been.
Then the Titan moved with a speed that should have been physically impossible for its size. It slightly lowered its hips, and rotated into a punch, straight at Aren!
Immediately, he increased his own gravity as far as could, straining to the max, hoping it would help to negate the damage. 500 times normal weight and his mana was completely gone. Aren’s body felt like it was burning from the inside out.
CRACK!
The hand connected with his entire body. Aren’s bones shattered, he fell unconscious but the pain immediately jolted him back awake. He slammed into the ground at a speed nearing 700 miles an hour.
It seemed as though Aren was dead, but he was not. At that moment, just as his life was about to flicker out, a wealth of knowledge opened up to him, like a hidden part of his brain being opened. Aren realized he had been doing everything wrong this whole time.
The Chaos Titan suddenly froze. The annoying bug was supposed to be dead, but it sensed life. And what was this feeling? It was like a feeling of sinking, but the Titan had no knowledge and did not know what it was. Its eyes snapped to where the bug had crashed, but it was not there.
Aren appeared in front of the Titan of Chaos. It almost seemed like teleportation, with the speed he appeared at. He held out a finger, pointing up at the monster.
“Fall.”
CRRAAACK!
BOOOM!
The Titan attempted to resist the insane gravity that descended upon it, but struggling against it was the worst thing to do. Its knees completely snapped, and it fell on the open ends of its legs. The ground shook from the earthquake that was produced. But the carnage did not stop there. The monstrosity put out its arms to avoid falling on its face, and this was the second mistake. Its arms shattered, completely destroyed under the weight.
The Titan of Chaos let out a roar of pain, fury, and disbelief, but it was no use.
“Condense.”
Aren’s Gravity Field formed to the shape of the Titan and slowly started to grow smaller.
First, it was half the size, then a quarter. And it kept going until there was nothing but an extremely dense marble-sized sphere.
“Liquify.”
And then, it was reduced to a small blob of lava, thanks to Infernal Aura. It was safe to say, this Legendary monster was completely and utterly exterminated.
“Ugh…”
Aren’s vision swam, and an excruciating pain consumed him. This whole time, he had only been holding his bones together with mana, not truly healing them yet. Aren passed out, and this time did not wake back up instantly, having been released from the pain, for now.
In a blindingly white room somewhere, the door burst open, and a man rushed in.
“The Titan of Chaos has been defeated. What are your orders?”
The woman sitting inside of the room raised an eyebrow at this, slightly surprised that the Titan had been defeated this early on.
“Who did it?”
“A demon by the name of Aren, your Highness.”
The woman was surprised once again, normally it would take several dozen people to defeat something of that size. However there had been a few cases like this before, and she was not worried.
“Leave it be. There are far greater monsters who will annihilate this person before he can evolve.”
