One and a half hours. That's how long it took for both my friends to come to Daisy and me. I was depressed. Asher and the kids are trying to call and text me. I turned off their notifications, but they kept using other apps to contact me. I was so tired of Asher, but I couldn't cheat on him.
I felt like killing someone. Stephanie had read a manga about a psychopath killer, and I honestly thought I was turning into one. "Violet!" Ezra called as she started looking around the Burger King. Lizzie walked in the Corner behind her. I couldn't help but gasp. I didn't want any of my other friends to know I wanted to kill again.
"Hey Vee, sorry I didn't tell you Conner was coming. I told him everything too." Lizzie beamed, thinking that I would be happy. "Uh, uh." I tried saying. I couldn't say anything other than that. "Conner, you can drop Daisy back at her house!" Ezra tried. "FUCK NO," I screamed, eyeing Ezra. She is not going back to that crazy manipulative person." I heard myself say.
I didn't feel that way. I couldn't stop talking while seeing my friend's horrified faces. "He's crazy. Fucking crazy. That bastard is making me kill. Let's see who's going to win. I swear I'm going to kill every girl he cheated on me with." I whispered, rocking back and forth, smiling. "Mark my words," I said louder, getting up and going to the bathroom without another word.
I didn't know that a burger king bathroom could be so big and clean. When I was going toward the sinks to clean my face, I kept scratching myself, and I looked crazy. I thought I saw some red highlighted hair and someone who looked awfully like Lia from the animal shelter in the mirror.
"Lia?" I asked, turning around and seeing her face for real. I don't think I paid much attention to people besides my friends, family, and Asher. Lia was stunning. I felt my face get hot with embarrassment because I couldn't compare myself to her.
"No way!" Lia gushed, "You remember me. I know I recognized that long shiny and wavy hair." Lia smiled. I could feel the smiling emoji through her words. I did something unimaginable. I jumped on her and hugged her, crying. I broke down in tears, and ugly cried. I wanted to be her friend, but I was going to kill her. I could befriend her for a few months. Yeah. All this happened in less than a millisecond. "Lia." I sobbed, "Can we by any chance be friends?" I practically begged.
Lia stood up, with me in her hands. She got soft napkins from her purse and used them to wipe my face. Smiling, of course, she was. "Violet, is that?" She said, between wipes. I nodded my head yes. "That's a nice name."
She continued, still smiling. I was starting to get heated, but I had to calm down. Lia continued talking. "Violet, please don't cry, your way too gorgeous to cry like this. You're beautiful, with a very soft face, amazing hair, extremely long eyelashes, and just a perfect body in general. People like you shouldn't cry, no matter what's going on. I can tell that you are strong," Lia admitted.
I felt myself rise from 30 feet under to about 20 feet under. I could see a friend in her. I didn't care. I was going to keep my promise no matter what.
Asher and Violet are husband and wife. They live in a nice neighborhood with 3 kids. You could even say they're the perfect couple until Violet finds out Asher is cheating. Violet and her friends decided to take care of the problem . . and it involves blood, lots of it.
