"Foxwing, can you lead the morning scout patrol?" Commander Moon asked the red tom lifted his head. "You can take Stormwing, Littletail, Puppylove, and Trainee Tiger with you."

Foxwing nodded and went to go get Puppylove and Trainee Tiger as Stormwing and Littletail were already with him. Last night's dream popped into Commander Moon's mind, and she wondered if Jeremiah Jr was connected to this villainous leader that was afar off.

"Commander Moon, when can I take the Trainee test?" Blue called from behind Commander Moon.

"Not until a few months," she informed the young kitten who scowled. 

Commander Moon was going to visit the nursery to check on Lionpool when Foxwing came into camp with a black tom with orange eyes and a brown tom with orange eyes. "Commander Moon, I found two young cats who want to join our Family!"

"Oh really?" Commander Moon mewed turning around to face the young toms. "What are your names?"

"I'm Crow and this is my little brother Will," the black tom greeted. "I had a dream last night that we came to this very camp!"

"Interesting," Commander Moon mewed. I wonder if that spirit cat sent him that dream. 

"So, we can join, right?" Will asked looking at Commander Moon.

"Of course," Commander Moon meowed. "You will be known as Trainee Crow and Trainee Will. Foxwing will make sure you try out our test for Trainees." The two young toms looked at each other excited that they were able to become members.

When the trainees left, Commander Moon heard Blue grumble, "Those lucky toms."

A little while later after the scout patrol came back, Commander Moon went to go speak to Lostleap about the dream she had last night. "Lostleap, we need to talk."

The gray tom looked surprised but followed Commander Moon over to the tree stump where all public and private meetings were held. After they got settled, Commander Moon spoke. "Last night I had a dream and a spirit cat told me we need to seek out help to find this supposed minion of a villainous leader."

Lostleap's ear twitched. "What villainous leader?"

"I don't know," Commander Moon meowed. "I just know they're not from Darkfall."

"Well, I have a cousin who's been bugging to join since we rebuilt Moon Family," Lostleap explained.

"Perfect! What's his name?" Commander Moon asked.

"Fire, he's around those two newbies’ age," Lostleap replied.

"Well, bring him in later and we'll prepare his assessment," Commander Moon told him. "In the meantime, I'm going to keep a lookout for those who can help us find this bad guy.”

Later in the afternoon, Lostleap brought his cousin in and was explaining him the basics of what he would be doing as a Trainee. "I'm sure I can ace this test," Fire exclaimed digging his claws in the ground.

"I'm not worried about you failing this test," Lostleap mewed. "I'm worried about your recklessness."

Commander Moon giggled at the sight. Fire was going to grow up into a fine Guardian one day. Her ears twitched when she heard a voice. "Jeremiah thinks he can beat these guys, what a laugh."

Who's there?  Commander Moon thought.

"She suspected me! Oh wait, she didn't say anything out loud..."

When no one was looking, Commander Moon jumped behind her den into the forest that was right behind her den and crashed into a purple foxlike Spellcheer. "Get off!" he growled.

"What are you doing here?" Commander Moon growled. 

"I'm getting information for Crim- err Jeremiah!" the purple Spellcheer growled pushing Commander Moon off him.

"Yeah right!" Commander Moon hissed lifting her paw up to scratch the Spellcheer but hit thin air as the Spellcheer disappeared.

"Everything alright?" Peachclaw asked from behind the den.

Commander Moon didn't answer but instead jumped back over into the camp. That guy must be connected to the villainous leader and all I know is it's not Jeremiah...

"Ugh...," Commander Moon sighed as she walked to the nursery the next day.

"You okay?" Lionpool asked.

Commander Moon stuck her tongue out. "I feel sick."

Lionpool tilts her head to one side and smiles. "Commander Moon, you're expecting!"

Feather and Blue, who were playing, stopped to look at Commander Moon. "Is it Stormwing's kits?"

Commander Moon nodded blushing as she's always wanted to start a family. Lionpool looked at her two kits who were sleeping and smiled at Commander Moon. "I thought you'd been expecting for a while, but I decided to stay silent."

Feather put his tail straight up. "And once they're old enough, we can keep watch of them in the nursery."

Nodding her head, Commander Moon left the nursery to go tell Stormwing the good news. Her mate was discussing about Bluestep to Trainee Ice and Trainee Will who both looked confused. He stopped when he saw Commander Moon's smiling blushing face.

"Stormwing, we're going to have kittens soon!" Commander Moon squealed.

Stormwing purred and Trainee Ice gave a sigh of relief. "Finally, some good news."

Commander Moon tilted her head at Stormwing. "Why were you telling them about Bluestep?"

Stormwing opened his mouth, but a returning Trainee Fire shouted, "I've heard that name before!"

Everyone in camp stopped what they were doing to stare at Commander Moon, Stormwing, and the three Trainees. Commander Moon beckoned Trainee Fire to come closer and whispered, "We'll discuss that later."

Looking up, Commander Moon lowered her ears and gave a sheepish smile. "Everything's okay, Trainee Fire just got excited."

The cats in camp only nodded and returned to their duties. Trainee Fire grabbed Commander Moon's ear and dragged her over to the tree stump she was at earlier. Stormwing, Trainee Ice, and Trainee Will followed.

"I said later," Commander Moon growled, rubbing her ear.

Trainee Fire lowered his ears. "But this is urgent. I know Bluestep."

"You do?" Stormwing asked looking confused.

Trainee Fire nodded and looked up at the cloudy sky. "I heard his name from a Spellcheer named Porphyry. Porphyry was mad when I heard his conservation with Bluestep."

Trainee Will looked suspicious. "What was the conservation this Porphyry had with his friend?"

Commander Moon noticed Trainee Fire look a bit terrified and he didn't speak. Trainee Ice lashed her tail. "Are you scared to tell us?"

"Absolutely terrified but I-I'll tell all of you as I think it's important," Trainee Fire stuttered and stood up to take a breath.

(Trainee Fire's story/flashback)

Trainee Fire, while doing his test, came across a conservation. "I don't care if a couple cats have to die, as long as his goal is completed, we'll be good."

What is he talking about? Trainee Fire wondered sneaking up to a bush to hear better.

"It's taking forever though, what if Larkin isn't here?" Another voice spoke.

Porphyry stomped his foot on the ground. "Larkin is not the main objective right now, it's destroying that good-for-nothing reincarnation of Moon Family. Crimson stated they shouldn't have existed since the old Moon Family was aligned with Larkin."

"Yeah, yeah, I know, but how will I make Commander Moon listen to that?"

Porphyry sighed. "It's simple, you cause trouble by bribing others to do it, so our name is kept hidden. Like, Jeremiah, since he hates cats anyway."

Trainee Fire growled. "Who are they to threaten us?"

Porphyry stopped and looked at the bush Trainee Fire was hiding in. "I think the first step is me killing an innocent Trainee who's been eavesdropping on me. What do you think, Bluestep?"

"Anything to please the Boss," Bluestep meowed from the trust item Porphyry was holding.

Trainee Fire's head popped up. "Oh, I heard nothing."

"Don't lie to me, you filthy beast," Porphyry shouted and took out a wand.

Scared, Trainee Fire ran away, unaware of what spell Porphyry might've cast on him.

"So that thing's name is Porphyry," muttered Commander Moon.

Trainee Will and Trainee Ice glanced at each other. "What if he put a spell on Trainee Fire?"

"No way!" Trainee Fire hissed. "I'm not dead or poisoned or anything so there's no way!"

Trainee Will and Trainee Ice were about to retort until Commander Moon gasped. Stormwing rushed to her side. "Forget about arguing, one of you get Dr. Riverbird!" The three Trainees bolted off. Stormwing nudged Commander Moon to the nursery. "Let's get you to the nursery before you give birth in camp."

Commander Moon only nodded.
