Justice POV
My dad came to see me that night “Justice” he says from my door frame. I didn’t respond because I already knew I wouldn’t like this conversation.
Since the dinner with Remini, everyone is trying to convince me how this decision is bad, how the person I love is bad. I don’t think that’s the case and it’s not like I could control it. When my siblings told the rest of my family (my second sister and my mom) everything they were horrified. Especially my mom, as an omega she couldn’t understand how someone could stand so low and attracted me. And the worse, is how the worthless omega could refuses my advances.
I deeply regret telling them Remini wasn’t a virgin, I think him being slightly ill mannered would have been enough. Because after that they start asking around and let’s say Remini wasn’t the most restfull omega, between his sex life, his language, his fights, his way of dressing, they was a long list of things my parents start to disapprove upon discovering.
I was tired of hearing that, I love my family but they could really be stupid. He didn’t love me and didn’t want to give me a chance, well game over. I was sad and didn’t need everyone to remember how he rejects me. It was hurtful enough.
“Justice” he calls again. Spiralling in my thought almost made me forget his presence.
“Yes dad” I look up from my homework I was too tired to do, to look at him. He closes the door and sat on my bed.
“Your mom and I spoke and we can’t understand why you would want him as mate, alright he’s pretty and is a beta’s son but is behaviour is a real atrocity”
“It’s no use speaking about it, he doesn’t want it anyways”
“but he doesn’t have a say in it”
“I would rather not force the person I love to do that”
“You should do that because you love him”
“Justice, do you realise that he is disrespectful but also didn’t wait for his mate. What kind of person would want to mate him? He will never, I am telling you, never have a better proposition than you. You, who love him and are willing to let slide all of his mistakes. From his actions I can tell he is unconscious but when you will mate he will sooner or later realise that this was the good decision for him and its pack.”
“Dad you don’t understand, he didn’t even want to be friends, how am I suppose to convince him that I would be good for him. The last time we saw each other he was clealy aggravated. I don’t see myself insisting.
"You don't have to convince him" my father says
"Bu-" I was going to argue when my fater interrupted me firmly "Justice"
He then adds more kindly "Just, think about it. About the future. About everything at stake for you and for him"
He taps on my head and smiles "Let's speak about it again when you have thought about it. I know you will made a good decision"
