I stood up and turned to Will "have someone watch them we need to have an emergency meeting" I said and he ran to grab someone.

"you guys make a sound or even move an inch while we're discussing things and my threat from before still stands" I said turning back to the tied up group of soldiers then walking away. "aren't you scary today" Xavier said walking beside me.

"I doubt the military is looking for me just to find some sort of cure" I replied. after a few minutes the different group leaders met up and we began to discuss. the small council we had consisted of Will, Mae, Tyler, Antonio, Xavier, and me. 

"we got information from the Soldiers that the reason their blocking off the towns and cities are to buy time in order for them to find the person that might be able to at the very least create something to stop the zombie infection from spreading" I said leaning against the back of the truck.

"Who are they looking for?" Antonio asked "me" I replied "well are you able to find some sort of cure?" Tyler asked "I seriously doubt it this whole thing started because of a comet remember. sure I specialize in biotech but without a sample of the comet I most likely wouldn't be able to do much" I replied.

"so what's the point in this? what are you asking us for it kind of seems like your mind's already made up" Will said. "the point is, is that we are currently in this together any decisions will be made together and Mae is our clairvoyant so I was hoping she saw something too to help us decide" I replied.

"lucky for you I did, from what I saw it looked like they had a sample of the comet but didn't have anyone who would know what to do with it. from what I saw their intentions are normal but that also could mean that I didn't see everything" Mae said. "so what do we want to do?" I asked. "if you go with them we have to insure the groups protection till we can get you back" Will said.

"I doubt the military will protect all of us" Tyler said "honestly I don't think it's a good idea not if we want to protect everyone which leaves the next question of what do we do with the soldiers?" I asked "we can't just leave them here either they'll chase us or call someone that will" Antonio said "well we can't exactly kill them either" Xavier replied. 

"so then what should we do?" Will asked. I stayed silent for a moment trying to think of any other solution than the one that just popped in my head but I couldn't. "we'll have to bring them with us or we take the risk and make a deal with them" I said "we could give them the option" Mae countered "true" I said.

"so is that what we're going to do, give them an option?" Tyler asked "I don't see why not" I replied. "all right then I guess let's double check everyone's ready to go and Xavier, Will, and I will go give them their choice" I said standing up straight.

Xavier, Will, and I then walked back over to the soldiers. "alright we're gonna give you a choice, come with us or we take your forms of communication with us and leave you here" I said crossing my arms. "your not gonna kill us?" a soldier asked. "what do I look like a monster" I replied and they all stayed silent. 

I rolled my eyes "just make a choice, each of you not as a group" I said "oh Will go ahead and pack up all of their ways of communication and their weapons but only live a few guns enough to survive" I said after a few minutes each soldier made their choice to stay or come about quarter of them decided to come with us while the rest stayed and we took all their ways of communication so at least slow them down from talking about us.

"oh and when your your people come make sure to tell them Mel did this, at the very least a a few of them will understand" I said as I got into the car. "that took way longer than it needed to" I said with a sigh. "why did you tell them your nickname" Sam asked "because the moment the person I want to hear it hears it don't know I'm still alive and will try to contact me, then we can get more info from him and at that point I'll make a Decision about the cure" I replied. "cure" Sam questioned "just ignore it" I said.

'and now to continue on with this road trip' I thought to myself as I slowly began to fall asleep. "Amelia" I heard a voice said "Amelia" I heard it say again a little louder "AMELIA" I jumped awake and noticed I was In a field of flowers. as I stood up I also noticed hundreds maybe thousands of gold butterflies flying around me.

"it's said that just a sing flap of a butterflies wing can change a whole course of events" said my alternate self appearing out of nowhere "why am I here?" I asked. "you need to find the cure" she said "I'm doing it my own way trust me this is the easiest and safest way for the people around me" I replied "I've come to warn you" she said suddenly "in the events coming sacrifice is your answer, but don't sacrifice too much or else it will cost your life" she said.

"no offense but what exactly is that supposed to mean?" I asked "time is running out and a sacrifice might be the only answer" she said in a riddle like tone. "I'm sorry but I still don't understand" I said "there's no time left" she said as I jumped away back in the passenger seat of the car.

'What does she mean there's no time left' I thought to myself
