Foreword:

Hello, I'm GameMaker8YT(Nicholas Escalante). The author of this light novel series. This is my first light novel and I apologize in advance for my inexperience. I hope you enjoy.

Arc 1: A soulless Ash  - Chapter 2: Hangout Raid

“Ahhh, finally a beeeeeed, but- why is it so fucking bouncy, is this bed made for sex or what?” Leon says, “Don’t complain now, I spent 50 credits on this room” Ash says

 “Yeah, yeah but I think, you should’ve gotten a room for yourself, so you and Amber could sleep together, heh, wouldn’t you like that Amber?” Leon says, “That’s… not… true, I can sleep by myself, hmph” Amber says

“Stop getting off topic, we need to find some work, don’t forget we still have 2 days here, tomorrow morning, Ash, and Leon will find a gig, me, Brandon and Amber will go around town to see if there’s any way we can get back to our sanction’s headquarters” Wade says

 “Can I just stay here I just want to lay in bed and go to sleep” Brandon says

“No, you will come with me” Wade says, “Fiiiiine” Brandon says, “Hey, ash weren’t we supposed to hang out today?” Amber says, “Can’t today, we arrived here later then we should’ve, I’ll hang out with you the day after tomorrow” Ash says, Amber smiles. 

The next day. “shit, I cant get my fucking underwear on” Leon says, “Just get dressed already we have to find a job to do” Ash says. “Why you got to be so serious all the time, you have PTSD or sum’n, ha” Leon says.

20 minutes later. “Ash check your Prism, I think there’ll be jobs available now” Leon says, Ash casts the Prism, *A Prism is a console used by all the Umbrian Military, it provides you information with time of day, location, missionsgigs available, and commands provided by the higher ups in the military. To cast a Prism you must make a specific hand motion and say “Prism cast”*.

 “There’s one job available, we get a 60% cut, should be about 40$” Ash says, “That should be fine, so what’s the gig?” Leon says, “We need to eliminate a… sex slave seller group-… you okay with that?” Ash says, “I’m… I’m fine, I’m not… nevermind, let’s just get to work.”. 

“So, this is the place huh, looks like a place someone goes to jerk off secretly” Leon says, “Stay focused, we’re in position, we got 2 guys leading the slaves, to cells, 8 guys armed with weapons, and what looks like to be the leader, is…” Ash says, “What’s he doing!” Leon says, “He’s raping some girl” Ash says, “hmphrrr, these fuckers won’t get away with this” Leon says.

“Ready to strike” Ash says, “Let’s do this” Leon says.  Leon bursts through the main door. “Come on you cocksuckers, try and kill me, heh” Leon says, Leon starts to shoot with his Uzi on his back.

Ash comes in from behind and jumps on Leons back to get to the second floor, there he sees the 2 men leading the slaves to the cells, Ash starts running towards the men and slices both of the arms of one, and pierces his sword through the eye of the other one, both the men start crying and begging for mercy, “No.” Ash says, he then beheads them both. 

Leon starts running towards the 8 bodyguards, he quickly strangles one of them, and an opening appears as the bodyguard open his mouth gurgling, Leon quickly chugs water in his mouth and uses his electric ability to burn all the soldiers internal organs to a crisp. Ash comes in on the bodyguards from behind, Ash slices the body of one of them in half while Leon’s, quickly gouging’s another bodyguards eye out and electrifies him, Leon then proceeds to slice the throat of the bodyguard. 

Ash and Leon keep fighting the bodyguards until all there is left is just a pile of corpses and dismembered parts. Leon gets the most pissed of look on his face, as he proceeds to knock down the door of the leader, the door was kicked down, the leader suddenly stopped raping the girl and fell.

He started to crawl away, having the most scared look on his face, the naked girl curled up on the corner covering herself with a blanket Ash gave her, the leader starts begging for his life as Leon puts a gun right up to the leaders face, “What’s your fucking name!!!” Leon says.

“*hyperventilation* My..name..is..Reine” Leader says, “Well you bitch ass, you're about to die, the most painful death you can imagine, all your worst fears are about to come true, heh”, “You… you… you’re the devil!!!” Reine exclaims.

Ash proceeds to escort the girl outside as he did not want the girl to witness what was about to happen. Leon grabs Reine’s head by the hair, Leon starts punching Reine, Pulling out his hair in chunks to the point where his whole scalp was just blood, Leon stabs Reine’s left eye, Finally Leon kicks Reine, and as Reine slowly tries to move away, Leon loads a new magazine in his Uzi and shoots Reine in the head, blood and flesh splatter gushing out of Reine’s head, with a tear coming out of Leon’s eye. 

“Thank you, sir… at that moment all I wanted was to die… Thanks for saving me, Sir” The girl says. Leon walks out of Reine’s office, having an emotionless face, as if he had nothing inside of him. 

“Everything alright?” Ash says, Leon puts on a fake smile, and says “I’m okay, heh”. “Come on! let’s take these slaves out of here” Leon says, “Ok.” Ash says. 

Ash unties the rope holding the rest of the slaves together, all the slaves, have an emotionless look on their faces, a shadow covering their eyes, 10 minutes later all of the slaves are rounded up outside of the building, “Get out of here, go to wherever you can” Ash says, the slaves start running, “Why are we leaving them here, where are they going to go?” Leon says, “The mission says to eliminate the trafficking group not to free the slaves we did more than we needed to, staying alive is up to them now” Ash says.

As all the slaves left, there was still one girl standing there, Ash approaches the girl, “I still don’t know your name, what is it?” the girl says, “My name’s Ash, just Ash” Ash says. 

“Thanks for saving us, I hope one day I’ll get to save people too, I know we’ll meet again Ash, until then bye” the girl says smiling, “Oh and my name is Kyouko… Kyouko Suzuki” Suzuki says smiling, and in a flash, Suzuki was gone. 

“Hey so, now that we finished the mission do you think maybe we can get some Kazuma specialty Mochi Skewers! *Leon puts puppy eyes*” Leon says, “You’ll have to ask Wade” Ash says, “Whyyyy, you know Wade will say no” Leon says, Leon puts a pout face. 

1 hour later. “Hey I see them, Hey Wade, Amber!” Leon shouts, “So how’d the mission go” Wade says, “We completed it, all money have been transferred to our accounts, we just need to find an Idator here somewhere to get the physical money” Ash says with a serious face. 10 minutes later. “Hey Wade,*Leon puts puppy eyes*, can we get some Mochi skewers, pleeeease, there a Kazuma specialty, everyone has to have them when they come here” Leon says, Leon starts to tear up after hearing no repsonse from Wade

“fuck it, fine” Wade says. They then proceed to approach the most popular Mochi stand in Kazuma. “Woooow, it’s really “Kitt Mochi” the most popular Mochi stand in Kazuma” Leon says eccentrically, “5 Mochi skewers please” Wade says. 

A minute later they all start eating Mochi on the bench as the moon starts to set in the sky, with peaceful night setting kicking in.
