Down here in Raleigh

Class begins shortly after I sit down. The bellringer is soon written on the board and students begin doing it. I finish the bellringer quickly and wait for class to fully begin. I lay my head down on my desk and take a small nap.

“Wake your ass up”, Caeson says as she hits me in the back of the head. 

“What the hell was that for?” I rub my head. 

“To wake you up duh. Good to see it worked.” She smiles. 

My head hurts now, Damn animal. Where does the strength come from? I swear up and down she works out. She can deny it all she wants but I’ll never believe her.  

 Class soon ends and the bell signals for the first lunch. I gather my stuff and begin heading to my second period. I have to walk all the way across the school for this stupid class. I walk for a few minutes and arrive at my scheduled class. I begin to walk in when I’m stopped by the teacher.

“Theo your work has become sloppy, care to explain?” Mr.Brown says. 

“Sorry sir I’ve been busy recently”, I said. 

“Don’t prioritize fun over your school work”, He says.

I just shrug him off and walk away. I can’t help being busy. What does he know about my life anyway? Oh wait nothing, nothing he doesn’t know shit. Can’t wait for class to be over. 

Class ends slowly and I’m fucking glad. Mr. Brown annoys the shit out of me. I make my way to third period. I meet up with Cam half way there and we walk there together. Luckily we are beside each other in this class. Cam usually does my work in this class so I can take a long deserved nap. Cam doesn’t mind because I do his math homework, win-win if I do say so myself.
