"I think I'm passing on", Neptune said, reaching her hands into the air. "What", I shouted running towards her. She started to turn into blue dust. I tried to grab her but it was too late, all that was left was the blue dust in my hands. "No", I said, turning around. Fernanda and Noah looked terrified. "Hey guys we can explain it to you", I said, trying not to freak them out.

  (Maria's POV)

  Neptune had passed on and turned into dust, right in front of Noah and Fernanda. I walked up to her and tried to calm her down. "What the hell is going on", she shouted. I held onto her arm, "I can explain what's going on, just calm down". sunflowers fell off me and I was back as a Calavera. Fernanda breathed rapidly as she looked me up and down. Noah looked at me and jumped. "What the fuck is going on", Noah shouted. 

  (Demise POV)

  "Just fucking listen if you want to know", I shouted. Everybody stopped moving, the rest of the Phantom Class was just listening. "We all are exactly who you think we are, I'm Demise Soul, just like I told you", I told Noah. "Yet the only thing is that... all of us are dead". "What do you mean we're all dead"? "I died 23 years ago when I was mugged and stabbed on the street", I pulled up my shirt and revealed my scars.

  "Fernanda, Maria died 51 years ago when she was crushed in a cave". "Veronica Leash, I'm sure you've heard of her". Veronica stepped forward. "You were a gymnast, you died"! She died 24 years ago when she fell on her head attempting a triple tuck backflip". "Then Mitsuki died of an overdose, Aberash starved in a desert trying to save her village"!

  "We all may be dead, we may be phantoms but we are still the people you met". Fernanda and Noah calmed down. "I'm sorry, Demise". "I'm sure I could've handled the situation better". "Yeah, but right now we just have to figure out what the hell just happened", I said letting go of the blue dust in my hands. "She wasn't supposed to go this early, how, how did she do it"?

  "She let it go, Demise", Aberash said. "What"? "She let go of what was keeping her here, she was no longer known as the girl that died at school. Now she was a friend". "She was loved", Veronica said, putting her head down. I looked at the ground and took a deep breath. "Cheer up guys, this is a good thing", I said, putting on a smile.

  "This is a good thing right, she passed on she's happy now". "Yeah", Maria said, she sounded so sad. "Fernanda how about I drive you home", Maria said. Rose petals whooshed around her and then she looked human. "No, I think I'll walk", she said leaving. I turned to Noah. "I'll see you soon Demise". He left along with Fernanda. 

  I got out my scythe, "Demise calm down", Mitsuki tried to stop me. "Dammit", I shouted swinging my scythe into the stage. "Demise calmed down", Veronica shouted, trying to pull me away. I pushed her off of me causing her to fall. I continued to slam my scythe into the stage. I felt somebody grab me and yank me back.

  I looked and saw that it was Noah. "I changed my mind, I'm not angry with you", he said, hugging me. I watched as everyone else walked outside. I got over Neptune passing on and Noah and I became friends again. He understood why I didn't immediately tell him. We hung out a lot, we were best friends.

  (Maria POV)

  I walked outside to cry, I didn't want anyone else to see me. I bought a new dress and everything for the party. It ended up a shit show. "Need a smoke break", a familiar voice asked. I looked up and wiped my tears. It was Fernanda, what was she doing here? "What do you want?", I asked, putting my head back down. "I came here to see if you were okay".

  "If you cared you wouldn't have been disgusted finding out I'm a Calavera skull". "I wasn't disgusted I was surprised". "Vamos Maria... lo siento". "Lo dices, en serio"? "Si, I mean it". I stood up and grabbed Fernanda's hand. We went out for ice cream and went to a Mexican pub she knew about.

  We slowly became best friends. Days turned into weeks and it had been a long time. Everything was happy and back to normal, we got over Neptune. That's when we were greeted by some old friends. 

  (Demise POV)

  My family, friends, and I were happy for weeks until we were greeted by an unexpected guest. All of us were at the house including Fernanda and Noah. Someone rang the doorbell and then knocked. "Who's going to get the door", Veronica asked. "I got it", Aberash said. She walked over and opened up the door. "Hello", she said as she pulled it open. Three bullets were fired at her and she fell back. 

  Everyone stood up to go and see what was going on. "Maria, que easta pasando", Fernanda shouted. "Noah, Fernanda, go upstairs and hide we got this, I promise". Noah and Fernanda ran upstairs and hid. I got out my scythe and ran to the front door. A large number of my men were standing out there. Chairwoman Wilson emerged from behind them. "Did you think you could kill a bunch of my men and get away with it"?

  I waved my scythe through some of them, cutting them in two. "So ready to kill already, I now know why they call you the reaper". Maria played tunes making some of them drop dead. Aberash waved her sword showing that she was a true samurai. Mitsuki swung her bat around like a real tweaker. This was a battle to remember.
