"Is everything okay?"

"Are the lights done?"

"Check it as many times as needed."

The people in white and black t-shirts, with staff-written in bold letters on them, were hustling from one place to another. They were doing all the last-minute checkups, for a concert that was going to take place in 6 hours.

The staff were rushing trying to detect any fault
and correct it so that it won't affect the performance.
Nagomi was warming up his vocal cords, he was; performing low in range doing scales and then arpeggios, focusing on his proper breath support. Meanwhile, Haruto was discussing something with the director.

Nagomi took a deep breath, he has done it so many times, going out there and performing but the anxiety never goes away.

"Just do it as you did on rehearsal, it's not that hard. You can do it!" He caught Haruto stealing glances at him, to which he shyly smiled.

After a while, he got into his performing outfit and was having his makeup done. After the preparation of his physical appearance was done, he went to the restroom.

Seeing this as an opportunity, Haruto too snuck in behind Nagomi. After seeing Nagomi biting his nails and getting restless, of course he couldn't stay still and do anything.

After Nagomi was done washing his hands, a pair of arms wrapped around his waist, he was startled at first but soon relaxed into the arms after realising who the culprit was.

"Don't scare me like that!"
Nagomi clutched his chest, relieving a deep sigh.

"I am sorry for scaring you. I just missed you and couldn't control myself." Haruto nuzzled his nose in Nagomi's nape. Nagomi chuckled at his boyfriend's silliness.

"Stupid it hasn't even been that long and also you are always running around me."

"Hey don't make me sound like a dog!" Haruto retorted.
"Okay jokes aside. All the best for your performance, we got this okay?"  Haruto continued.

Upon hearing it Nagomi bit his lower lip, he looked unsure. Haruto gave him the sweetest whipped smile he could pull.

He cupped his lover's cheeks " I don't care about others, there hasn't been a performance where you haven't failed to mesmerise me and I am sure it is for everyone. So don't be anxious, you are the best and will always be. But remember that, I will be there for you no matter what, so let's rock this."

This is what Nagomi loved about Haruto, he never failed to understand what Nagomi felt. He always said what Nagomi needed to hear.

'You've got this fluffball with you, why were you worried?' Nagomi mentally reminded himself.

"Now go there and do what you've always done."

Nagomi nodded, he tip-toed to reach Harutos forehead, placed a kiss on top of it and dashed out of there before the latter could throw one of his cheesy remarks.

"Wai- Haruto extended his hand to stop Nagomi but it was already too late, as he had already escaped. He looked over at his image in the mirror, the crimson blush on his cheeks was visible, he touched where Nagomi had kissed him, a faint sensation of his touch was still present. A shy smile hugged his face, Haruto chuckled at himself and smacked his head before heading out himself.



The continuous chants saying 'Nagomi' was heard from the audience which soon changed into a huge scream and cheers, welcoming Nagomi when he stepped on the stage.
He was overwhelmed by the presence of the crowd that was present for him. They were his supporters. He glanced backstage, his eyes stopped when he saw Haruto, the latter nodded and gave him a thumbs up to which he nodded and turned towards the audience with a huge grin plastered on his face.

The music started booming and the cheers got louder hyping up the atmosphere even more.

Nagomi took a deep breath, put in his In-ear monitor and started his concert. After a few songs, the concert was already reaching its end. The sweat was dripping down his forehead. On the other hand, the heat caused due people dancing, jumping and singing along covered up the stadium but the enthusiasm remained the same and so did the Nagomi's love for singing.

The concert was over and Nagomi was exchanging words with the audience; interacting with them and answering a few questions. Soon the hall was empty and Nagomi was changing in the changing room, that's when Haruto entered the room.

"It was a blast, your concert." Haruto kissed his forehead. "And that's my revenge for earlier."

Nagomi rolled his eyes at Haruto.

"Stop being so cheeky all the time."

"Come on you know, you like it."

"As if."

Nagomi turned around to get his things but when he turned around again, he saw Haruto down on his knees.

"What are you doing?" He asked, flustered.

Haruto took a small black velvet box out of his pocket.

"Well I know, this might be too early and you might still be sorting out your true feelings but I have been in love with you ever since I laid my eyes on you and I would be delighted if you accept this promise ring."  Haruto smiled at him, making Nagomi speechless. The latter didn't know how to react. Of course, he was happy, a part of him wanted to jump into Haruto but another part of him refrained from doing it so.

He took a deep breath. "You know I won't be able to wear it in public."

Haruto widened his eyes in excitement.
"Does that mean?"

"Yes, it means yes." Nagomi extended his left hand towards Haruto.

Haruto slipped in the ring on his finger before finally standing up taking Nagomi off his feet and swirling him around.

"Thank you. I love you so much." He wiped tears forming in the corner of his eyes.

"You silly goose, why would I ever say no to you? And about my feelings, I would not have been in a relationship with you if I hadn't figured them out."
He flicked Haruto's forehead.
"And I love you too."

"No fair. Who said you could do a surprise attack? Think about my poor heart."

"Keep on speaking nonsense and I will draft a request for a new manager."
Nagomi stuck his tongue out.
Haruto chuckled at his lover's antics.

"There is something more," Haruto announced nervously.
Nagomi raised his eyebrow, signalling him to continue.

"You know how the leash for your apartment is going to end soon?"

Nagomi nodded.

"I...uh.. may or may not have gone for an apartment hunting so that we could live together."

There was one surprise after another.

"I- well really?" Nagomi demanded unbelieving what Haruto had just said.

Haruto bit his tongue and nodded in uncertainty, anxious and anticipating the latter's reply.

"Yes! Let's live together please." Haruto finally voiced out.

"I mean you know my living habits right? And even after knowing that you want to live with me? Are you sure?"

"That's exactly why. You seriously need someone to take care of you*."
Haruto said, dead serious.

Nagomi chuckled at him. "How am I going to win against you? If you put it that way, I don't have a choice."

"Can I take it as a yes?"

Nagomi rolled his eyes.
"It's a yes so what will you take it as?"  He said in a 'duh' tone.

"Oh my god, that means we need to start packing. Sato-san hurries up, let's get home as soon as we can. I will be waiting for you in the car, okay?"
Haruto said as he dashed out of the room.

Nagomi snorted and followed Haruto.

"Once a silly goose, always a silly goose."
