Tod had walked to the bathroom and went to the first aid box again to find it empty. Tod had sighed and grabbed his thickest shirt and wrapped it around Emma's arm. Tod then went downstairs and saw his mom on the couch sweating and gulping down a beer. “Mom we need another first aid box” Said Tod she checked her pockets and under the couch and pulled out a twenty.

 “Here you go babe and get you and Emma some dinner”, Tod was about to turn around when his mom called him again. “Don't let Martin see you with that money Tod!” She yelled 

Tod loved when his mom was nice, and he loved her more when she could see how horrible Martin is. Tod ran upstairs to tell Emma where he was going but she was asleep so he had written a note instead. Tod started his timer on his watch and ran as fast as he could to the store, he felt more freedom Running. Running he thought “You shouldn’t run away from your troubles Tod but run to make your future”. Tod had stopped running and turned around to find nobody there he was about to continue running to be stopped by Alex.

 “Hi Tod”, she said 

“Hi Alexis,” Tod replied.

 “Why don't you call me by my nickname?” she nudged him “I got a secret for you, but I will only tell you if you call me Alex”. She said 

He thought it was going to be about Tia liking him, so he called her Alex. “I want you and Emma to run away with me and my brother”. 

“Um” said Tod Alex started twirling her dress.

 “My brother wanted me to ask you two first”, “so I was heading to your house but saw you, so I thought it was ok”. Alex looked up at Tod and waited for him to answer.

 “I must ask Emma but it's ok with me”. 

“Emma”, I screamed. I ran upstairs and shut the door and locked it.” Guess what I just heard”.

 “What”? she said, wrapping the bandage to her arm.

 “Alexis and Tyler want us to run away with them can we go I don't like it here”. said Tod 

“First, quiet down, don't be so loud and we can't leave mom Tod”. “They're going today and in thirty minutes”. My mom had burst in the door Emma had hopped up ready to fight if she must but sat down when she saw it was mom.

 “I heard you guys all the way down stairs so I thought I would give you a head start” she threw a bag at Emma and Tod “I was planning on about five hundred dollars for all of us to leave, but I know I would get us caught so I want you to take that chance.” Said my Mom Me and Emma had cried and hugged our mom and grabbed everything we needed and one thing we wanted. We started going down the stairs slowly just to be stopped by martin. 

 “Where in Hell do you think you're going with all that stuff”? Yelled Martin Emma had stood tall and looked at Martin.

 “We are leaving, and you are not gonna stop us and if you hurt our mom, we will hurt you where you will not see it coming”. said Emma our mom was on the couch looking at us crying and she whispered she loved us. We looked at her curiously. Martin had pulled out a gun and said.

 “You are not going anywhere out of this house, go back upstairs NOW”! No, I said 

“your funeral I guess.” he shot the gun, but I didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes to see my mom on the ground bleeding. She looked at us and said she whispered for us to run, we sat down on the floor and held her hand and shut her eyes when she died. I Got up vexed and furious just to realize Martin already ran. I turned to Tod and told him to call the ambulance and leave a note. After he finished, we had left the house and we were on our way to freedom and Revenge.

Me and Tod waited a little bit to see the ambulance heading toward our house. Then me and Tod had headed to Alex and Tyler house when we got there they were already out and were waiting for us. 

“See I told you Tyler they were going to come” Said Alex

 “Why did it take you guys so long” Said Tyler 

“we had some minor difficulties”. Tyler had looked at me and nodded “Ok where are you two going” said Emma “you mean us” said Tyler “No, I mean you two”! “Well I was planning on somewhere far away I don't know yet” said Tyler

 “You plan to run away with no plan” said Emma irritatedly. “Ok follow me I know a place we can go to plan this crap better”.

 “Ok” said Alex and Tyler

 “Are you sure you want to take them their Emma dad said only for emergency” Said Tod “And this is an emergency” Said Emma
