Kazuki and Aoi had been traveling for days and they had run out of food so they resorted to fishing and eating what they caught. Kazuki's Sixir was really useful for changing the wind current so they could sail faster or avoid storms up ahead.  One day as Aoi and Kazuki were sailing they both were about to go to sleep but before they could Aoi asked Kazuki about why he looks like a kid. Kazuki kept his promise to Aoi and told him the reason why.

      Kazuki was born on the island of Kaze. He never knew his parents for he had been taken away from them at the age of 3 to partake in an experiment that would grant eternal youth to the people. This experiment required the blood of certain people and Kazuki had been one of those people. The scientist had been taking large amounts of blood from the kids and because Kazuki had the most valuable kind of the blood they took the most blood samples from him. 

     Kazuki is now 12 and during the years he spent in the facility he had not made a single friend, everyone hated him because he was treated with care so that he wouldn't run away from the facility. One day when Kazuki was out alone going for a walk, he was approached by a kid who seemed to be older than him. The kid asked him if he knew where all the others had been, Kazuki said that he didn't know. The kid told him that he heard Kazuki had been in the facility longer than the other kid. "Oh Yeah? Why is that important?" Kazuki asked him. The kid replied, " If you've been here longer than anyone that means you must know where the others are, right?" Kazuki sighed and pointed the way to where the other kids were. "Thanks! Oh, my name is Kido Kageshima by the way and I'm 15." Kido waved at Kazuki and went to the other kids.

     Every day after that, Kido would come to play with Kazuki, who was a bit bothered at first but then got used to it. When Kazuki had turned 15 Kido taught Kazuki how to wield a sword, they practiced using sticks that they hid from the facility workers. Kido was taught the Senko sword technique from his mentor before he was taken to the facility. He taught Kazuki for 3 years until Kazuki had learned everything Kid could teach him.

     In that same fateful year, Kido had died because of the scientist taking too much blood from him. Kazuki became angry that his only friend

     Kazuki then later started working in the town for he had no money, He worked there as a construction worker in his older form because he knew they wouldn't let him in the job if they saw his younger form. He could only keep his older form for some time so when he got back to the hotel he stayed at, he was exhausted every day. He worked for 3 years till he had enough money to start venturing into the world. On his travels, he met Aoi. Kazuki had finished telling his story but by the time he finished Aoi was already asleep. He laughed at that fact and went to bed himself.

     In the morning Kazuki was awakened by Aoi telling him to hurry up and come check outside. Kazuki was confused at first but he woke up and followed Aoi anyway. Aoi was jumping up and down and screaming "Hooray," because they finally saw an island in the distance.
