As we begin to walk to the station we see everybody who is going on the mission already waiting there for us in the distance. It doesn't take us too long to meet up with the rest and father begins to lead them out of the city by foot as to not attract too much attention to the forest. I follow beside him and together we listen out for any signs of the scouting parties that were tasked with taking out the enemy patrols.

The journey is a silent one as everyone tries to remain as quiet as possible and spread out enough to not be easily spotted even in this darkness. Everybody it is being coordinated with the help of specific officers using psychic magic to communicate with other officers so that they remain moving towards the same target. Even if it's hard for some of them to see out here this late at night with the trees blocking any light from the moon.

After almost two hours of walking we find the first patrol dead with the scouts nearby ready to greet us. Father and the others group up together and they get a report in from the scouts. All of the patrols have been neutralized however it seems that this has put the people in the mine on high alert as it appears the patrol did not return when they were supposed to. That means that they're expecting us or at least somebody responsible to show up and attack. As a result father switches up the plans slightly having two squads break off and go around to create pockets in the mind using earth magic and striking them from positions where they would not be expecting people to come through. Meanwhile the bulk of them go through the front and try to distract those on the inside.

Father and I would be traveling with the main force because the two of us can give the enemies enough hell to keep them from focusing on the others. I didn't disagree and the demon blood was calling for combat and it was slowly starting to get louder and louder the closer we got to potential battle. The silence of the forest just an hour before dawn only accented that feeling of the calm before the storm. The air was still and all of the creatures of the forest seem to be sleeping. I would call it peaceful if not for the fact that we were walking towards what will soon be an intense battle.

After 15 minutes of walking we eventually came across it. We could see the mine and the light from inside showing the people were there as the shadows of them passing by and orders being barked out meant that they were fully expecting an attack soon. My father waited for our group psychic to let us know when the other squads were in position so that they can begin using magic to dig into the mine while we would distract those inside with a frontal assault to catch them off guard.

When the signal came in my father looked to his men and we all pulled out our guns and swords. We all pointed and waited for the first sign of someone to come out and check and it didn't take long. When they did we all pointed our guns at them and I could feel my heart pounding as this would be the first time I would ever have to kill a man. I didn't know how to feel about it but the demon blood kept telling me to do so. It kept egging me on to take a life. When I heard the first gunshot the feeling came over me and I just started firing. It reminded me of back on Earth in my younger years where gunfire in my neighborhood was an almost everyday occurrence. The only difference is this time I had a way to protect myself and the call of battle drove me to fight.

The second that the criminals body hit the floor after being turned into swiss cheese from the amount of bullet fire they received, we charged towards the entrance of the cave ready to keep playing until every criminal inside was put down. At the first couple officers reach the mouth of the mine they immediately put up barriers to deflect most bullets that were firing at them. As more of us came up behind them we were able to see just how many were shooting at us. There were about 20 who were actually focused on us. As my dad and I locked eyes I began to channel the Eye of Destruction.

As I could feel the power flow through me, I who got behind cover and took time to buff myself with magic. First I cast Electric Slide on myself and I also focus on some of the other abilities I have like Battle Breathing. Then I begin to empower my sword beyond what is usually possible using abilities like Imbue Arcane, Holy Weapon, and I even take the Dragon Stance that I didn't even realize I knew before I saw my character sheet. However I wasn't done I then began to pile on the power even more so that I could completely decimate my enemy while the others kept them off me and dealt with some. I cast the spell Infuse Flame onto my blade and in my free hand I used Wind Slicer. Now I was ready, but first I needed to throw the enemy off guard with something they would not be expecting.

I remember that day at the school very well the first time I let the Dragon Blood manifest in a mighty breath of destruction empowered by the eye. Over time I got used to the dragon's breath but this would be the first time I used it with the eye since that day. I moved out from cover and using my speed I got in front of the other officers. I felt the power surge in my chest and slowly build until it was ready to be fired forth from my mouth in a brilliant ray of bright white death towards all of the enemies in front of me.

I knew what types of damage made up the breath weapon at this point. Fire, radiant, and lightning. All of it melted together to make a superheated supercharged beam plasma highly focused and condensed to the point where it melted any and everything in its way. Instantly vaporizing at least 10 of the criminals that were firing at us, and any bullets they were shooting our way were melted in midair. The men charged past me and together my father and I raced forward at great speed to fight off the remaining seven that had survived the initial onslaught. But in the back we could hear many more shouting orders that were distorted from the sound of combat.

The men took out at least 3 of the 7 that remained in front of us, and me and father easily dispatch the remaining 4. With my sword having such an overwhelming effect they almost seemed to explode at it's touch. Then we heard clear as day an order being yelled from one of the enemies that we could now see further down the tunnel.

"Now men! Collapse the tunnel! Bury them alive," shouted the one in charge with at least 50 more men that we didn't even know about. They all cast Minor Earth Manipulation to cave in the mine tunnel around us. Instinctually as everything started caving in around us I began to cast the same spell to use my increased area of control and superior power to try and save us.

I seemed to be doing successfully until a group of stalactites above us fell down and were about to impale me to the ground. Without hesitation my father grabbed me and pushed me out the way behind cover and took the blow himself. As the rest of the cave in continued and the way in front of us was blocked off; the light snuffed out with it. I could see the most of the men were injured but the safe, and when I looked to where my father was I saw him. He was moving and alive and I generated light using Minor Pyro Manipulation to illuminate everything around us.

That's when I saw it..... One of the stalactites had took off his left arm and he was bleeding profusely, and there was a much smaller ones stuck in his neck causing him to choke on his own blood. As my heart began pounding with fear that he might die, I watched him as I rushed over even quicker as he ripped the small fragment out of his neck with his right hand. Then saw as he cast a healing spell on his neck. As I was next to him at this point his neck was fully healed and he definitely was okay. But he was still bleeding profusely from his severed arm which was crushed under a portion of debris, so there's no way I could try and reattach it. I took two of my healing potions and open them up and force-fed them to him as he healed his remaining left arm that now was a stump of just above where his elbow was. As I looked him over he did the same to me making sure that we were both okay, but even with the healing potions help he was on the verge of passing out from the blood loss even if he was going to live.

That's when the demon blood became the loudest. Those assholes hurt my father and now I was pissed. The angrier it made me feel looking at how hurt he was the more the voices got louder and louder until they were an overwhelming chorus calling for the decimation of all of those responsible. My father tried to stand but he was clearly not going to be able to in his current state, and just seeing him like this made me want revenge so much.

I placed my forehead on his and I picked up my sword and his. As I stood up he looked at me and with his right hand he tried to reach out to me, but I stepped back. As the men use their potions to heal themselves up I began walking over to the collapse debris that stood between me and everyone we came here to kill. I was enraged and I could feel it overwhelming me. As the voices got louder and louder and louder in my head I looked at at my father and then forward at the rocks in my way.

A primal anger came over me and as I let out a massive roar of fury and hate; I began casting Minor Geo Manipulation. With it I was able to instantly create a hole straight to the enemy and they could see me and I could see them. And I just shouted with all of my hate with all of my rage, "JUST DIE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I could feel the connection form and solidify as I watched as all of the enemies in front of me outside of a small for you began to bleed from their ears, eyes, noses, and mouths and fall to the ground dead.

I didn't mean to guess what had happened because I knew. The Eye of Kings was now active and my will has been imposed. For those of you that still stood including the leader of the group they looked on in shock and confusion, but by the time they went to reach for their weapons I was already in front of them. Closing the distance in less than 3 seconds so I could make them pay.

Easily I killed 3 of them before they even realized that I was now in front of them. Then 2 more as they try to aim at the location where they saw the other 3 died only for me too use my speed to appear behind the 2 ready to fire as I slit their throats with father's blade. Then with my own blade a single strike was enough to make three of them died in one swing as they seemed to explode from all of the magical power striking them at once. As their leader ran past I saw even more men down the tunnel where they were smuggling goods. There was at least 5 dozen more which means these men arrived after the scouts reported or were hidden somewhere that we didn't know about.

They all needed to die and I would make sure of it. At my speed I was like a blur of death to them. With each one I slew the voices in my head grew louder until I couldn't hear them anymore, and all that I knew was that every last one of them needed to die. Until that was all that I could see and think.

I lost myself in that moment to the violence. To the desire for bloodshed...... I remember killing every last one of them and I kept going looking for more. Until I found myself somewhere outside in the plains far to the west of the location we were at. I could see the river off in the distance with all of the waterfalls that led to my hometown to the southeast. Everything was still a blur but I was starting to come to my senses as I could see the leader of the group not that far away trying to reach a group of men who seem to have been waiting for the smugglers.

As they aim their weapons at me seeing that the man was clearly afraid and I was soaked in the blood of all of their allies. I gripped the swords in my hand even more using my speed too close the distance before the first shot was fired off. By the time the first bullet had been fired 3 of them were already dead. The strongest of them was able to actually block my attack and send me flying back about 50ft into the air. Where I not only recovered, but fired down nearly 30 individual Lightning Grenades knowing that the collective area of effect and damage would be enough to kill every last one so long as lightning wasn't something they were impervious to. As most of them were vaporized from the sheer number Lightning Grenades going off with their increased area of effect and heightened damage the few that surprisingly survived immediately realized how fucked they were.

As the few that remained tried to leave running for dear life, I used at least a total of 50 Hydro Beams that I fired at them. That finished them off including the one who was bossing around the others. With all of them dead I could feel myself slowly starting to let the anger subside. As it did I slowly felt much more tired than I had in awhile and as I landed down near where the edge of the water met the land I rested against one of the trees near the waterfall.

Everything was hazy from there. I remember blacking out from exhaustion. As I lay under the tree dreaming the Voice came to me in the familiar form it took the last time I saw it in my dreams. He spoke to me, "Not bad.... You went berserk there for a moment, but if you can channel that anger and power you will become much more capable and worthy of the power I have. For now rest... Things are about to become interesting."

I don't remember much else until I was woken by the sound of a large beast breaking out of the mine tunnel that I had traveled through. Letting out a mighty roar of rage as it did, and the sound of a young girl screaming out for help in a language that was familiar to me but not native to this world. She screamed in Japanese, "Darekatasukete kudasai!!!"

As I snapped awake, I instinctively flew at the sound of the beast gripping both swords in my hand with the intent to destroy it. As I flew straight at it the sheer strength and speed I was moving it was enough to knock it over. I began slashing at its throat and face with violent aggression until it was bleeding profusely. Then when I saw that it was bleeding out I decided to put it out of its mercy by using Blaze Burst while standing on its chest. When I looked at the girl I had saved after the creature was for sure dead, I saw a beautiful yet strange looking girl that I could only compared to a Drider from Dungeons & Dragons. Even then that wasn't right it was just the closest comparison. She wasn't one of the races that I had learned about existing on this world but clearly she was a person. Also from the fact that she spoke Japanese she was reincarnated just like I was. But as our eyes locked I couldn't help but let my curiosity run wild.
