"Stupid Nory! How could he point something out like that. We were just sparring and the only reason I was in that position was to finish the match. Yes. That's the only reason. It was never meant to be anything else but that, mhm! You know what im gonna go give him another piece of my mind." She proudly declares. 

As Nyra begins quickly walking through the long corridors of the castle all the maids and guards who are doing their daily duties make sure to step to the side to steer clear of the clearly tunnel visioned princess who had a clear agenda of being quick to where she was going. On her way to Kynor's room Nyra passed by the throne room and heard queen titania shout at someone. Nyra's curiosity got the best of her and she pressed her ear against the door to get a better idea of what all the shouting is for. 

"He's not ready! My baby boy will not travel anywhere Ulric!" The queen screams at Ulric making her position clear. "Dear you must let him grow on his own from time to time. How else will he be able to develop his problem solving skills. Besides he will have armed escorts with him at all times. Not only will Amelia be him, but to help appeal my own case I will even send Sir grardor as well. How does that sound?" Ulric pleads.

Queen titania begins to feel selfish for trying to keep kynor cooped up in the castle at the end of her husbands words. "But, Kynor has already had attempts on his life from those filthy humans. He's just a child whose barely six." Lord Ulric grabs his wifes hands. "For that reason alone my dear is why I will have Sir grardor along with amelia as well as a full escort. I will even send the head maid as well to attend his daily necesseties. You know as well as I do that Aurora is no slouch when it comes to combat." 

Feeling dejected the queen truly has no other reason to deny her husband. "I.. I suppose I'll allow him to go, but only if all of the conditions you just spoke are met!" Titania Demanded. 

"I Will begin to make preparations immediatly. Thank you for understanding my love." Lord Ulric gives his wife a soft kiss before leaving.

Nyra hears the Demon Lord begin to make his way to the giant doors she was using to eavesdrop. She begins to step away when they suddenly opened and knocked her on her butt. She looks up and finds that the Lord Ulric is smiling at her while she is rubbing her bottom from falling. Feeling extremely nervous the princess bows a perfect ninety degrees and shouts. "Im sorry Lord Ulric, I didnt mean to eavesdrop I just couldnt help myself!"

Demon Lord Ulric lets out a big hearty laugh. "Do not fret little princess. I know all to well of the power of curiosity. Actually im glad your here it saves me time. I am sending Kynor to your home to help him learn a little of the world outside this cramped castle. I was hoping to have you accompany him to show him around once you arrive. I feel that it would make things a tad easier on him if he had someone his own age he got along with that were there to help him."

Nyra finally looks up from her perfect bow. "I would love to go with him. I have been feeling a little homesick as well so it would be my pleasure to accompany the young Lord." 

"Wonderful, thank you so very much princess. Also for future reference, theres no need to be so formal with me ok. You may call me whatever is comfortable to you. I will always treat you as if you are one of my own family."

Nyra's face lights up with enthusiasm. "Ok uncle Ulric!" She proudly decares. Lord Ulric lets out another hearty laugh. "Now that's more like it little one. Now if you'll excuse me I have some affairs that need tended too."

Nyra bows once more before the Demon Lord leaves and decides to finish her first task of heading to Nory's room to speak with him. Nyra lost all of her previous resentment from before and instead of speed walking with disdain writtin on her face she now has a grin that no one could possibly miss as she skips down the hallways as happy as could be. 

After a long skip down the halls she makes it to Kynor's room and hears some talking from inside his room. So once again she decides to eavesdrop a little before making her way in. 

"Ow ow ow ow, Miss Aurora please be gentle it hurts right there. Kynor says painfully. 

"I'm sorry young lord, but I must apply some pressure to the wound so that the ointment can set in properly. please do your best to bear with the pain a little longer."

Head Maid Aurora begins to apply more ointment to Kynor's stomach. 

"Young Lord if I may ask what happened to cause this large of a bruise on your abdomen?" Aurora asks.

"It was princess Nyra who caused it. We were in the middle of sparring and at the end of it she gave me a powerful kick while I was on the ground to keep me from grabbing my sword. I know her sword training was more advanced than mine, but did she really have to kick that hard to prove a point?" 

Head Maid Aurora begins to chuckle a little. "I see. From the news I recieved from Sir Grardor you and the princess made a bet did you not? So don't you think it was only in her favor to go all out against you as to not lose that bet?" 

Kynor looks at Aurora with puffy cheeks. "Hey, aren't you supposed to be on my side with this?"

The head maid stifles a laugh. "Young Lord I am not here to agree with every little thing that you speak. I may not be your parent, but I love you all the same as they do and will do everything in my power to make you into the most wonderful person that you can be. I may not be able to reprimand you nor would I want to, but I believe it is ok for me to help give you guidance when you need it. I just want you to know that if you ever feel the need to talk or get some things off your chest I will always be here to lend an ear and a shoulder if needed."

Kynor begins to tear up a little at the Head Maids words. He suddenly leans forward and gives her a big hug while resting in her bosom. "Thank you for helping to take care of me Miss Aurora. I do love you as well."

Aurora begins to shed a few tears at the Young Lords words. She quickly wipes her eyes and bids Kynor farewell. 

"Eh? Where are you going Miss Aurora?" Kynor asks. 

"I must go and check up with the Lord and the Queen. Besides you have another visitor that has been here for awhile anyway so I shall take my leave."

Kynor looks at Miss Aurora with a confused expression. Before he could even say another Aurora open the door and Princess Nyra falls forward from leaning on the door. She looks around nervously knowing that she's been caught. 

"Princess Nyra I leave the Young Lord in your hands now. Please do be gentle with him he's still a tad sore from sparring." The Head Maid leaves the room with those last words to hang in the air. 

"Uhh.. hi there Nory." She says while looking all around to avoid eye contact. 

Kynor gestures for her to come sit on the bed with him to help her relax a little. "What did you need Nyra?

"hm? oh nothing important. I just came to tell you that we'll be going on a trip soon. Uncle Ulric wants us to go on a trip to my home the Kaladan Empire to help you understand a little more about the world. We'll have Sir Grardor, Master Amelia, and Head Maid Aurora to accompany us on the trip."

Kynor looks at her baffled since this is the first that he has heard of this. "Why now though? Isn't that kind of dangerous since there are assassins out there looking for me?"

"Well your mother and father got into an arguement over that fact alone, but that's also why we will have all the escorts assigned to our carriage so we are as safe as can be. Your mother very adament on keeping you perfectly safe. She really does cherish you."

Before Kynor could say anything else Miss Aurora arrives back at his room. "Young Lord your presence has been requested in the throne room. Would you and Princess Nyra please follow me?" Both Kynor and Nyra hop off the bed and begin to follow the Head Maid to the throne room. When they arrive they are greeted by sight of Sir Grardor and Master Amelia waiting for them. 

Lord Ulric stands up and winks at Princess Nyra. "I summoned all of you here today to send you on an outing to our neighbor city the Kaladan Empire. Otherwise known as Princess Nyra's home. This journey is to teach my boy of outside relations and to help him gather real world experience. Sir Grardor, Amelia, and Head Maid Aurora, you will accompany them to assure everything goes as smooth as possible. No harm is to come to either of the children. Young Lord kynor and Princess Nyra have the utmost importance in safety. You will be leaving at sunrise. That is all you are dismissed." With his signature hand wave Everyone bows and begins to leave. 

"Kynor please wait here for a moment." Titania declares. Once everyone has left the Queen uses her air magic to lift up Kynor and pull him in.

Kynor feeling himself being lifted feels like a cat whose parent carries them around by the scruff of their neck. He knows theres nothing he can do to get out of this sort of situation so he just lets it happen. Kynor floats over to his mother and when he arrives close he she gives him a giant hug squeezing him into her bosom to quite literally suffocate him with her love and affection. She released her grip and begins to lecture him. 

"Now Kynor you must always be vigilant. Never let your guard down. Just because you have escorts does not mean you can relax and become lazy. If you feel cold be sure to put on more clothing. Ill be sure to have extra blankets packed for the trip just in case. If you need anything ask Aurora and she will do her best to provide for you. Do your best not to bother Sir Grardor and Master Amelia as they will be on the lookout for potential threats at all times." 

Kynor listens to his mothers advice for the next hour before he was saved by his father to allow him to go and prepare for the trip. Before he could leave though his mother Kisses him on the forhead and sends him on his way. 

The next morning arrives and everyone packing in the carriage. Thats when Kynor realizes that not only are his 2 masters coming along with, but also two entire platoons of soldiers as well. He face palms thinking to himself, just how much safety did they really need.
