this book is the second of a trilogy that follows triplets, Basil, Aster and Clover. 

Clovers book was first in the set (a clover seed), you don't have to read it, but it would make somethings better to understand asthere is a continuious plot through the three books. 

there is a quick summary for those who need it or just want a reminder, as the book starts just where we left off in the last story.
