A mouth had gone by after the a battle of the dragon island. The villagers were getting ready for the wedding of Roar and Ulfhild. The dragons were staying were help and, we were keeping the orphan egg safe.

My father started invited Ulfhild people. Even though what happened Roar still wanted them here. But only five were allowed to come. Some of the dragon hatched just the day before Ulfhild people came. 

Harland welcomed Ulfhild five guest to the hall for the wedding. Harland and Ulfhild father gave the morning-gift from the groom to the bride. Ulfhild father of the girl had most likely taken his daughter with him to various fairs and markets, not only to cook for him but to make her availability for marriage known.

Since Ulfhild mother was dead Roar mother would spend time, with her mother and other married women. I and Thyra also underwent rituals and was attended by my father and married male friends and relatives. 

Wedding vows consisted of the groom presenting his newly retrieved ancestral sword. To his bride she was to hold it in trust for their future son.

The bride then offered the groom a sword of her ancestors, which symbolized the transfer of her father’s protection to her new husband. The couple then exchanged rings, offered to one another on the hilts of their new swords to further seal their wedding vows.

Following the ceremony, the groom made sure to arrive first at the location of the feast. In order to block the door with his sword and prevent the bride from entering until, he could guide her safely across the threshold.

Feasting and merriment would then begin and last throughout the remainder of the week. Dancing, wrestling, and good natured insult contests, provided the entertainment for the guests. 

During the week wedding party Ulfhild and Roar, name the baby dragon that were born though out the week. Unknown to the bride and groom sadly Ulfhild father had not given up. He was planning something under their to try again. Well he sussed hopefully not for no one want them to ruin a wedding of his daughter.
