The next morning approached rapidly and guests began to make their way home or to their rooms. As the time to confront William about the night approached the worry that had fled during the part returned tenfold. He had to come up with a believable plan soon. He looked over to Sandra who hurried over understanding immediately.
“Might I suggest saying that you are exhausted from the day” Taras nodded and thanked her quickly. As the time came he and William went up to their new bedroom. As they were alone William sat on the bed and layed down.
“I know what we must do but, I am currently unable to. I am exhausted from the day.” William looked up and walked over taking Taras into his arms.
“I understand my love, I would never want you to do anything that you feel uncomfortable doing, your happiness is more precious to me than anything else.” He kisses Taras forehead and just holds him.
Laying in bed on the right side Taras is laying on his back, confused as to what he should be doing now. William lays down and pulls him close, wrapping a hand around him. Taras is feeling weird in the night gown. Looking into William's eyes Taras moves downward to put their head on his chest. It was warm and he could hear his heart beating, a calming rhythm that he fell asleep to. William stroked his hair smiling to himself. The one that he had loved for so long was finally his, he could give them everything that he had. He never knew love could be like this, the feeling of having the only one you’ve ever cared about on his chest sleeping peacefully, no cares in the world, nothing that could separate the two of them. As the thoughts flooded through his mind he too drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Sandra was by the bed waking them up.
“Good Morning, breakfast will be ready in a short while, I must get you up to help you prepare for the day!” Sandra’s wrang through the room as with Williams butler.
“Good Morning Sandra, see you had a goodnight” She giggles.
“As have you my Lady” Taras giggles and William looks down at the bed where the two of you had just laid intertwined in each other's arms.
“We’ll let you get up while we organize your clothes for today.” Sandra and William’s butler scuttle off. Turning to look at William he has a big goofy smile on his face. He kisses Taras on his forehead and stands up.
“As much as I would like to kiss you more my breath stinks!” he winks and walks into the bathroom leaving Taras alone on the bed. Looking after him. Just sitting for a while. Finally standing up and stretching. The cracking of their back was audible as he bent down and touched the floor before stretching back up towards the ceiling. It wasn’t too cold but there was a chill in the air. Looking around the room Taras sees some flowers on the table, beautiful red, white, and black roses in a silver vase. Looking at them he smiles. The door to the bathroom opens and Williams walks out in only a towel. Taras turns to look at his husband happy to be with such a kind man. Guilt seeps into his stomach filling him to the brim as William walks closer. He runs to the bathroom, closing the door behind him. Tears covering his face looking at himself in the mirror seeing only a man who is tricking someone he feels strongly for. Turning on the shower and taking a seat letting the water wash over him, trying to wash the tears from his face and guilt from his being. He has to do this, Right? He questions himself and sits for a while, just sitting staring into the room contemplating what he should do.

Taras looked into the mirror, freshly brushed teeth and trying out a new shampoo had helped him calm his nerves. He still had his duties and couldn’t neglect them just because he was having a moment. Sandra had done a wonderful job with his hair, pinning it up in a cute style. The dress he had for that day was a beautiful light blue color. He was more comfortable in the dresses now than at the beginning of the month. He stood up from the vanity and walked to the desk to check what papers layed there. First order of business ‘Thank You’ cards for the guests. Looking through the papers he couldn’t find the list with the gifts from each person. A knock at the door took his attention as his mother entered the room.
“Oh my dear you look beautiful!” He stood to greet her, She smiled brightly. “Now what are you doing, we still have guests at the palace. You should be out with them and not hold up in your room!” Taras nodded.
“I was looking for the list with the gifts from everyone so that I could begin writing the cards, I wouldn't want to disappoint anyone.” His mother gave him a nod and guided him out of the room. “That is important but it can wait a couple hours, I’ll have the list sent to you but first I would suggest going to the garden, people have started to gather and I believe the newlyweds are expected, you are leaving tomorrow.” The hallways are long and brightly lit from the open windows.
“Yes mother.” Taras excused herself and made her way to the garden followed by Kevin.
“Kevin, I am so glad you are coming with us, a taste of normality is something I have been craving.” Kevin in step grinned at their words.
“Of Course my Lady I am here to help, and spar” he said with a wink. Taras chuckles and steps into the sunlight of the garden. The wind blows slightly and the song of birds is clear to hear. From afar one could also hear many people speaking. From where Taras is standing one could not see anyone. Kevin and Taras make their way to the gazebo at the other end of the garden.
