“What are you talking about?” Scarlett asked, “I don't have any powers.”
“Yeah, you're going crazy,” Amber agreed.
“Really?” Annabelle asked, “You don’t feel something?”
“Huh?” Amber and Scarlett said in unison.
“Amber,” Annabelle said turning to her, “Place your hand on the grass” she said motioning to a square of grass on the sidewalk.
Amber did what Annabelle said.
“Now,” Annabelle instructed, “Think of a plant.”
Amber closed her eyes and thought. All of a sudden a vine started climbing up Amber’s arm. As it grew small bright purple flowers started growing all over the vine.
When Amber opened her eyes she gaped at the vine still growing up her arm.
“I- tha- thats a plant called Wisteria,” Amber explained as she gently shook her arm out of the plant, “How did I do that?”
“I told you, you have powers, both of you” Annabelle said.
“Amber you have Earth/Nature powers” Layla told her, “Scarlett- well it's better if you see for yourself.”
Annabelle and Layla led Amber and Scarlett towards Annabele’s house.
(A word before you go inside. Annabelle is a little rich so she lives in a large house and has a beautiful fireplace since her parents love family time around a fireplace.)
When arriving at the mansion, Scarlett couldn't help but be amazed by the large and grand house even though she had visited many times before. They walked through the massive hallways and towering entry ways towards the massive, unlit fireplace.
“Scarlett,” Annabelle instructed, “Step by the fireplace and try to think of something warm.”
As soon as Scarlett stepped up to the cold fireplace almost instantly it lit up with a jet of warmth.
“Woah,” Scarlett and Amber said in awe.
“Pretty cool huh?” Annabelle said.
“How did I do that?” Scarlett asked.
“We told you,” Layla answered, “magic.”
“Scarlett, you have Fire powers,” Annabelle said.
“You both have magic and now it has been getting stronger,” Layla explained, “I have the power of darkness and”
Annabelle cut her off “and I have the power of light. We need to take you to a place where you’ll be safe with people like us.”
