Meanwhile, Ma Liling reported back to her company and went directly to the CEO's office. In which she was greeted with the figure of her boss Yi Beiwei who is sitting behind her desk while checking some documents.

"I heard from your manager what happened last night… That was very dangerous. I reprimanded and scolded her to not leave you alone…" Yi Beiwei said while looking at Ma Liling behind her desk.

"It's fine… I was saved… So no worries." Ma Liling said with a smile.

"Pfft… Do you know who saved you last night?" Yi Beiwei said with a mysterious look on her face.

"You're so mysterious today… Why? Do you know that guy? Is he someone who is very powerful? A superhero?" Ma Liling said with a smirk.

"Hahaha… You silly little girl. If you knew who that person is, then you will be elated."

"Why be so mysterious? Come on, tell me… Please…" Ma Liling begged while blinking her almond-shaped eyes.

Seeing the cute expression in front of her, Yi Beiwei could not help but be dazed for a few seconds.

"You… Alright, but this is a secret between us. In fact, if this comes out of this room, we will be having a lot of headaches." Yi Beiwei said as she grabs the tablet on the table and flips it to the galleries.

She then shows Ma Liling a video of the corner of the street.

The video was taken from the security camera of the restaurant. Because the company was informed earlier by the manager of Ma Liling of what had happened, they acted fast and recover the video from the restaurant.

In the video, Ma Liling could see a tall man wearing silver spectacles, and when she turns on the corner and passes by him. He suddenly grabs her hand and in one fluid motion, he was able to remove his coat and drape it on her shoulder while releasing her ponytail.

He then drags her to the corner and as if they were intimate, they did not care for those passing thugs.

Ma Liling was too engrossed in that few seconds of video that it made her heart feel excited.

She can remember that night and though it happened really fast, she can vaguely remember his masculine scent and his hoarse voice.

Suddenly, she shook her head.

"Are you crazy? You're already married; get a grip of yourself… Ma Mian!" she shouted in her mind.

But that scene was truly something like in the movies. It was really too spectacular.

"If I didn't know that this was taken from a security camera outside the restaurant, I would think that is a movie shoot." Yi Beiwei teased.

"Boss… Tell me who this man is." Ma Liling said with a frown.

"Alright, I'll tell you… I did some digging last night. But all I knew about this guy is that he was there at the restaurant as a business executive."

"So?"

"Jiaolong Corporation…"

Hearing that name, Ma Liling's eyes went wide in realization.

"Oh, you mean, He is an important personnel from that giant business empire?" Ma Liling exclaimed with an exaggerated expression.

Seeing the reaction of her friend, Yi Beiwei rolled her eyes.

"So what?... I don't want to chase these kinds of people."

"I didn't mean for you to chase after him. I just want you to be grateful and say your thanks."

"Yeah, maybe next time…" Ma Liling said nonchalantly while standing up from the sofa.

"You're going to your next location for the commercial shoot?"

"Umm… I'm going, boss…" Ma Liling said while waving her hands as she walks out of the office.

"Sigh… This girl… She is too indifferent to these kinds of things…" Yi Beiwei muttered while looking at the disappearing figure of Ma Liling.

"It would be nice if we can collaborate with them…" Yi Beiwei suddenly had an idea in her mind as she picks up her phone and began scrolling through her phone book.

While doing so a tinge of a crafty smile appears on her dainty red lips.

Meanwhile, Ma Liling, her manager, and her personal makeup artist are currently driving on the road. Their destination is at the outskirts of the city where there is a small forest. The scenic spot is very attractive and has the effect of nature which is in accordance with the theme of the commercial shoot.

"Liling… I will never leave your side today, I promise…" Ma Liling's manager said while driving and showing a remorseful expression on her face.

"It is fine Sister Bing. We have Fei Fie with us today, so I'm not worried." Ma Liling said while smiling at the young woman beside her.

Lan Quibing has been Ma Liling's manager ever since she started in the company, and Min Feiyang is her new makeup artist when she became a famous celebrity.

"I wish I was there last night and did not fall into that trap of leaving you behind… I could have given them a thing or two…" Manager Lan said while pouting.

"Sister Bing, if you were there, you would be dragging Miss Liling into trouble…" the honest Min Feiyang said in a low voice.

Hearing that tiny voice, Manager Lan glared at the young woman sitting behind her in the rearview mirror.

"Fei Fei, you are looking down on me. Don't you know that I am currently doing MMA training? I can even take down some thugs if I wanted to."

"Really! You're not pulling our legs, right?" Ma Liling exclaimed upon knowing that her manager is doing such strenuous training.

"Well, I wanted to protect myself… my husband told me… So…"

"Oh, I see… I'm guessing, your husband is the one teaching you, right?"

Hearing that, Lan Quibing's eyes went wide and glared towards that soft-spoken but sharp tongue makeup artist.

The conversation inside the van was harmonious and not long later, they soon arrive on the set. Several trailers are already in the area, with many crews busily setting up the place.
