Three weeks have passed.

Now that my parents have agreed to enroll me in the Reorus Academy, they have created some terms and conditions for me to follow at all costs.

"Al! Promise us that no matter what, you will never be self-satisfied. Second, make a lot of new friends. Third, remember come home as soon as the term is over. can you do that?" My parents stated.

"Yes! I swear I'll do what you said, Mom...Dad!!" I agreed to all of their terms.

Today is the day of my journey with my father.

I'm finally leaving this small, quiet town.

It's time to discover what this world has to offer.

Anyway!

This journey was going to be long.  In order to get to Reorus city, we'd have to enter through one of the designated teleportation gates in the Ether Mountains, otherwise, It would take months to reach the city if we go through the empire.

By mid-morning, we were ready to head out

After tying my knapsack, with my books and a couple of snacks, to my back and strapping my wooden sword to my waist, My dad rushed me to be ready soon.

At the time I walked out from the house,

"Al! Make sure to eat regularly and to go to bed at a reasonable hour every day. Above all, take care of yourself. I'm sure you'll have a good time! ....Mom will miss you so much!. Please remember to return home at the end of the term!" My mother said this as she was on the verge of tears.

"Mom! Don't cry, I will be fine! I'll miss you too, Mom!!" I responded with a sad and confident smile.

As I walked away from the garden, I noticed my father comforting my mother.

After a few moments,

"So! Little Guy! Can we leave now?" My father asked as I noticed my mother waving her hands at us.

I Shouted back at her, waving my hands "Mommy! Take good care of yourself!! I'm going to miss you!!!!!" with tears welling up in my eyes

We made our way to the stables to pick up our Carriage.

We found our horses and carriage after entering the stables.

My father had already prepared the carriage for the journey, the day before.

I hopped onto the carriage in the far back, with a little mana reinforcing my legs. My Father sat in the rider's seat.

Leaving  My Birth town, MillerVille behind, We began our journey! towards the Reorus City.

It took four days to get to the Teleportation Gate in the Ether Mountains.

The area looked liked a market. Many adventurers, merchants, and travelers were crammed into that area for the purpose of passing through.

There were also shops where Potions, Weapons, and Magical Items could be purchased.

After waiting in line for so long, it was like a blue swirling passage connected with a large, golden designed Doors.

There were even two soldiers guarding the gate, verifying the people before allowing them to pass.

In my previous life, I frequently used Teleportation Magic to teleport anywhere, but this is my first encounter with a Teleportation gate.

When it was our turn to be verified, my dad showed the Soldier a token crafted in the shape of two swords attached to a Golden badge.

When he saw that, the soldier raised his head and shivered as he looked at my dad's face.

The soldier became terrified when he saw my dad. He stood up straight, his Spear held responsibly to the ground. All of this leads me to believe that the soldier was treating my dad with Loyal respect and fear, just as he should have treated the royals.

I'm curious, how valuable is that token? And why did the soldier treat my dad like royalty?

"mmm....Your Maj..." My dad interrupted him and said, "Mr., Could you please let me and my son pass through?" with a grin

I'm not sure what was going on between them.

The soldier looked perplexed and responded with respect, "Of Course, Your..Sir!!"

"Al! Come on, let's go! We have been verified!!" My father smiled as he called me.

The soldier looked at me with a puzzled expression on his face.

With a smile, I turned to the soldier and said, "Thank You sir!"

Me and my dad successfully passed through the Teleportation gate while the soldier continued to look at me and my dad in confusion.

We arrived to the Reorus city.

It is the second largest city in the city after the capital, Esterrora City.

The city's Buildings was simple and Unsophisticated style.

This city has a wide range of shops as well as a large adventurers Guild.

"Al! Come on, let's go...the Academy is this way!!" As my father called, I tightened the straps of my small knapsack and followed him along with the stream of people passing and entering the city through the Teleportation gate.

I couldn't help but be curious about my surroundings because I'd never been to a city this large before.

As we passed through the crowd, I noticed a Royal Chariot with white horses moving slowly through the crowd, with Soldiers guarding and clearing the way for it.

It was really cool, and I was wondering who would be traveling in it, perhaps The Princess? It could even be a prince!

When my dad saw the Royal Chariot, he tightened his grip on my hands, and his face became angry and sad, with brimming tears.

"Dad! Is everything okay?" Curiosity got the better of me, and I asked him,

He responded, "Don't worry, Al! Everything is fine!! "with a put on smile

I didn't ask him anything else because if I did at this time, he would dodge the questions I asked. So I decided to ask him when I returned home at the end of term.

We finally found the Reorus Academy after a few minutes of walking through the crowd.

My dad and I entered the gates and proceeded to the Registration office.

There were a large number of humans, elves, and dwarves registering in various counters at the Registering Office. And only one counter was left empty. It was reserved for nobles and other high officials.

Since being reincarnated, this is the first time I've seen elves and dwarves in this world. And come to think of it, Me and my mom, looks more like elves than a human, as both our ears are slightly pointed. hhaha!!

The majority of Elves and Dwarves come to Asphen for education. Many nobles, royal elves, and dwarves attend the Reorus Academy, which is the second best Magic Academy in the entire Axia Continent.

And the Top is The Esterrora Academy, which is located in the Esterrora City, the capital of the Asphen empire.

At the First Counter, there was a Human girl who appeared to be a few years older than me working as the Registration handler.

huh! She appeared too young for a registration handler.

As I was wondering, can we use the Golden Token my dad used at the Teleportation gate to register at the first counter? "Hello miss, I'm here to register my son!" my dad said casually as he approached the First counter.

The humans, elves, and Dwarves in line were all taken aback to see a commoner registering at the noble's counter.

I thought, My dad is probably going to use the token again....
