After an unknown amount of time, I felt something poke at me and I sat up, only to see a smiling face at the ladder to my bed.
"Are you our new roommate? Hello, my name is Tyler Ashley, and I'm a Dwarf! It's nice to meet you. It's already Lunch time, we have to eat. Come on, I'll take you to the place!"
"Oh, hi there. My name is Allen Rey Astarac, but you can call me Al." When I found out Tyler was my roommate, I immediately spread out on my bed.
Wow! He's a Dwarf, after all! This is my first meeting someone!
Tyler patted the side bunk with the Notebooks on the table. "I live here, and Lay's over there. He's a glutton, so he headed straight to the cafeteria instead of returning to our rooms. Let's go; we'll find him "He said.
"Alright!" I couldn't help but smile when I saw how friendly Tyler was.
My first roommate is the same age as me! Wait a minute, this batch is brimming with geniuses! I thought only the prince of Asphen was similar to me, but Tyler is also similar to me? That's fantastic!
The cafeteria was located behind the classroom block, not near the dorms. The food provided to the Elite Junior class was distinct from that provided to the other students. They were also served on the cafeteria's upper floor in a rather tiny canteen.
As I followed Tyler in, a fragrance filled my nostrils, and the rich aroma of food made me salivate.
Woavu! It entices me to go there!
My supply of rare food has been reduced since my arrival in Reorus City, leaving me with little alternative except to rely on quantity to refresh my body. But as soon as I walked inside the canteen, I was hit with the familiar fragrance of unusual food components.
They were not only delicious, but they also provided me with enough of nutrition and energy! At the very least, there was no need to overeat. The cuisine for the Elite Junior class is truly on a different level, which is why it was separated from the rest of the student body.
But nothing can beat my mom's cooking though! haha!
In truth, I had no idea how much money the Reorus Academy had set aside for the Elite Junior class. The Academy was determined to groom true elites as a result of the stimulation from numerous reasons.
That explains why it is ranked second in the entire continent.
In reality, not only were my charges waived, but the bulk of the students in the elite junior class had their expenses covered by the institute in order for them to focus their resources on cultivating exceptional potential.
After exploring and attempting many things, the academy had committed a very considerable sum of money to this single purpose.
Everything rested on the outcomes of the first batch of the Elite Junior class to see how long they could keep it up.
As said, I'm proud to be a first batch of the Elite Junior class.
The food at the cafeteria was plentiful, and I soon understood that not all of the meals were produced with exotic ingredients. Only a couple had unusual components in them, and they were significantly less expensive than what I had at home. Looking at the average number of dishes, the students were unsure of what was unique and valuable among the others.
Naturally, I did not maintain my nice attitude. I purposefully chose meals with rare ingredients in order to eat less, but his plate rapidly became stacked high.
I followed Tyler to a table in the corner while I heaped my plate high. This table appeared to be the farthest away from the rest of the cafeteria, and it was the only one, There was one person whose head was buried in his meal.
Even though everyone was staring at him, he remained unconcerned and sat alone at the table.
He has the same but lighter brown hair as me for some reason.
"Lay!, our roommate has arrived; introduce yourself!" Prince!." Tyler sat next to the boy and nudged him on the shoulder.
huh! Prince! So he's the one! What do you know, he's also my roommate!
"Cut it out, fatty Tyler! Being a Prince has no bearing on this Academy!" He yelled angrily.
Lay raised his head and fixed his gaze on me.
I then noted that the guy came to be of comparable stature to me, with large and narrow eyes on a somewhat lengthy face. He wasn't the most attractive man, but unlike Tyler's genuine smile, I could detect a harsh edge emanating from him.
"Hello, my name is Allen Rey Astarac." I took the initiative and asked him to raise his hand.
"Hey! You are unique! Everyone refers to me as Prince, but you are the first person to address me by my given name without my permission!" Lay stated.
"huh! Is that a bad thing?" I asked to him.
"No, it's actually quite cheerful!" to hear someone treat me like a normal person! Thank you very much! ... And please allow me to introduce myself: my name is Lay El Reynolds, and if you don't mind, I'd want to ask you a question! "What mana core stage are you at?" Lay didn't waste any time getting to the point.
"Tier-3," I said.
Well, I have been Leveling up for almost 4 years now!
"Tier-3?" Lay's face softened into an Aww-r. He was taken aback and immediately stood up, exclaiming, "What the! Is it true that you're ten years old? You're almost at the Halo Stage, right? Unreal!" He exclaimed with glee.
Tyler had an excited expression on his face. "What the hell! Tier 3! Wow!"
It did, however, make me shy.
'You are the only one with this Level!' said Lay. You are a Legend for beings like Tyler and me, who are just in Tier 2!"
I rubbed my chin. "Tier-2 is also very fantastic; it's not about tier or power; as a Mage, you must be able to use your magic correctly!, even if stages are lower. That's my belief!" I stated.
Well, I used to be a Demon king who also excelled in Magic. I used my magic without limitations, and I never once tested my level or stage or whatever it was. I guess, in this life, I need to consider everything and put my powers to good use.
"Wow! That is quite profound "Lay responded.
