Foreword:
Hello, I'm GameMaker8YT. The author of this light novel series. This is my first light novel and I apologize in advance for my inexperience. I hope you enjoy.
“Well, now
that was quite a show, wasn’t it? Not quite as entertaining as I hoped, though”
Jeremiah says.
“Soldiers, round up the rest of the girls chained to the fence,
send them to the plantation, do with them as you desire, heh” Jeremiah says.
“Well then, let’s get going now” Jeremiah says, “Sir what about the intruders?”
a Wayne Soldier asks, “Leave them be, we have no business with them” Jeremiah
says, “I’m killing them anyway” the Wayne Soldier says, Jeremiah pulls out a
gun and shoots the soldier in the head, the soldier falls to the ground, with
parts of the brain splatting on the ground.
The Wayne army leaves and
Squad Petra sits there on the floor, with no words to say.
After 5 minutes have passed
since the Wayne army left, everyone stood up, with no words to say, Leon was
sitting there not standing up with the rest, “Hey, Leon, are you alright?”
Brandon says, “Shut up… Shut the fuck up all of you!!!” Leon yells while
crying, it almost seemed like his eyes were about to burst.
Leon stops crying
instantly, and he turns his head around and puts on a smile, “I’m okay-heh” Leon
says, “Why the hell did all this happen? Why? Why did he have to kill so many
women and children?” Wade says, “Damn him that bitch, he’ll pay for this”
Brandon says, Amber stood there with no words to say, she’s still in shock,
after seeing so many children being burned alive, there would probably be no
reaction.
Everyone starts walking toward the last carriage, Ash wraps his arms
around Amber’s shoulder and moves her with him towards the carriage. “Does
anyone here know how to drive a carriage?” Wade says, “I do” Brandon says.
Brandon gets on the
carriage, and everyone moves away along the path heading towards Agami
Headquarters. Everyone is on the carriage, not a word spoken, shadows covering
the eyes. “Umm, so what are we going to do now?” Leon says.
“We’re heading back
to headquarters, we need to report the mission with Akim was a failure” Wade
says, “And how long will it take to get there?” Leon says, “About 16 hours”
Wade says.
2 hours later.
Awkward silence is still flowing around the
carriage, not a single conversation. Ash puts his hand on Amber’s head and
starts to rub it, Amber starts to smile slightly, “Thank you, Ash” Amber says,
Amber turns her head towards Ash, Amber leans on Ash’s shoulder, “Umm, you’re welcome”
Ash says. “Get a room you two-heh” Leon says, “fuck off” Amber says.
Everyone
starts laughing, “Haha, haha, did Amber just say her first swear word?” Leon
giggles, “I think she did” Wade says.
“It’s not like I never said them” Amber
says, everyone starts laughing, except for Ash. Things return to normal, and
everyone is talking like normal again.
14 hours later.
Ash and Amber are sleeping
together for the second time, Brandon barely staying awake, and Wade still awake
and trying to be the leader, Leon is completely passed out. “Hey guys we’re
here, it’s Agami headquarters” Wade says, “Hhuh- we’re here finally, can’t wait
to see, what the Agami General got to say to us this time” Leon says.
“We’re going to
get an earful, but maybe he understands that the King’s a fucking cuck” Brandon
says, “...” Ash says.
“I wonder what
our next mission if going to be” Leon says, “I hope it’s
nothing too dangerous” Amber says.
“Don’t worry we’ve got Ash on our side, he’s
stronger than anyone after all his Codename is #016, Hey Ash! What happened to
that bitch of a sister you have huh?” Leon says.
“My sister is still the
Captain of squad Armanda, she’s also the lieutenant and Lead General of the Military” Ash says, “I wonder if
I’ll ever get into squad Armanda” Leon says, “Only the very best of soldiers
can get into squad Armanda, you’d have to be at least a #015 codename, to even
be considered” Brandon says.
“Everybody get off, we’re at the entrance” Wade
says.
Everyone proceeds to get off the carriage, “This place is as big as
usual” Leon says, “Hey, wanna take a look around the market? We don’t have to
pay taxes here, hehe” Leon says, “Fine I suppose we could take an hour or so
off” Wade says, Brandon, Leon, and Amber all cheer simultaneously.
“Woah, look
at this Ash, it’s a real Arlert, they look so cute, I wonder if I can pet one”
Amber says amusingly, “Feel free to pet one, please sanitize your hands before
and afterwards” The Clerk says.
“So, this is the most
popular place to buy creatures, “Arlert’s Aura”, the hell does it have such a
nice name, for being a store that sells weaponized animals” Leon says, “Hey,
Ash, I will finally get to pet an Arlert, hehe” Amber says as she proceeds to
put her hand in the cage, she moves her hands carefully towards the Arlert and
pets its back.
“Woooow, it’s so soft, It’s softer than a beaver pelt, ummm….”
Amber says, Amber takes her hand out of the box, shadows covering her eyes, she
turns around and faces Ash, everyone seems frightened.
“Hey…Ash…, Can I have
one pleeeeassse? Please, please, they all look so cute, come on please, one
Arlert only costs 15 dollars” Amber says, everyone relieved that it was just a
simple fuss, “No, we need to spend this on stuff we need, and how are we
supposed to take care of it” Ash says, “hmph” Amber says, while pouting.
“Hey! Look over here
there’s a churro stand, anyone want some churros?” Brandon says, “Yes” everyone except Ash says in a serious tone.
“Woah theses churros are hot, and why are they so long?
Its not like it’s a dildo” Brandon says. Everyone starts eating their churro,
everyone stares at Ash, “Hey Ash, why do you always eat your churros with
chocolate?” Amber says, “It’s basically a rule that you have to eat it with
caramel sauce, you know that right?...right?” Amber says.
“Rin from the Cadet
corps gave me a churro once, and it came with chocolate so I ate it and, never
bothered to change the chocolate for caramel sauce since” Ash says, Amber puts
a pout face, “Who’s this Rin? I’ve never heard of her, hmmm” Amber says.
“Rin was my teammate for the duration of my Cadet Academy” Ash says, “Rin this, Rin that, all you keep saying is Rin, humph, if
you like her name so much why don’t you marry her” Amber says in a moody
manner.
“…” Ash says, “Never
mind, just forget about it, I’'ll forgive you if… you give me a bite of your
churro” Amber says quietly, Amber blushes while waiting for a response from
Ash, Ash puts out his hand holding his Churro, “Here” Ash says, Amber turns her
head around and says “Well, will you feed it to me?”.
“Ok.” Ash says, Ash moves his churro towards Amber, it turns
into an awkward situation, Amber takes a bite.
Her face lightens up as the taste
of the churro with chocolate, is delicious. “mmmmm, the chocolate on the churro
is so goood” Amber says, “Do you want it?” Ash says, Amber grabs
the churro from Ash’s hand, “Thank you, here have my churro” Amber says, “Ok.”
Ash says.
Ash and Amber eat each
other’s churro. Amber thinks to herself “Wait, did we just indirectly kiss? woah,
I think we did, what do I do now?”.
Amber starts choking from the churro
because of what she was thinking, “You okay Amber?” Leon says, “I’m fine” Amber
says, “At least Ash started to show signs of affection…for me...i think” Amber thinks to
herself.
Everyone finishes their churro, “man I’m stuffed, I haven’t had
something this tasty, before i crossed the border.” Leon says, “Why
is your humor always so dark, you shouldn’t joke about that stuff” Amber says,
“You know food is like dark humor, not everyone gets it” Leon says, Amber
chuckles. “See, you find it funny too” Leon says, “No, I don’t” Amber says,
while chuckling.
“Yeah, yeah” Leon says.
Everyone stands up, “Hey wade, what do
we do now?” Brandon says, “We need to go the closest armory stand, we need to
buy some ammunition” Wade says, “Can’t believe that fucking king won’t even
supply us with ammunition” Leon says.
“The military does provide us with some ammunition per-mission, but if we use all of it and want to do extra side
missions, we have to buy our own” Wade says, “Oh, but still the armory should
be free of charge” Leon says, “Come on let’s go” Wade says.
As everyone got towards the
last path, they need to get across to arrive at the armory, a squad starts
coming along the path, everyone is gathering, seeing the horror of what
happened to the squad coming back from a mission.
“Woah, what the hell happened
to these guys” Brandon says, “This must be Squad Aardvark, what the fuck
happened during that mission” Wade says. All the soldiers from that squad are
all terrible shape, there are dead corpses lying across the path, of those who
couldn’t walk any longer, hostages taken in by the Squad, are all severely
wounded, with fingers severed, their tongues stuck to their neck, one
hostage even had his arms made into a necklace worn by himself, enemies who
have gotten the breaking wheel all sit in front of the carriage.
The soldiers
of the squad all have shock and trauma in their eyes, one soldier keeps mumbling
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry” on and on.
There is no point of return for
these men, they have gone into a state of mental trauma their whole world is now
one big delusion. The General of the Agami Headquarters comes towards Squad
Aardvark, “Sir, I’m sorry, we couldn’t… complete the mission, but we did bring
in a few hostages.
There’s a chance… There’s a chance he’ll come” Carter says
(Leader of squad Aardvark). The general slaps him in the face as hard as he
could, Carter drops to the floor, with his hand against his cheek. The general
starts kicking and spitting on Carter, as he didn’t complete what he was
supposed to do.
“Look at you, you disgrace of a human being, as of now your
Squad is dissolved, I never want to see your fucking face, anywhere near this
building, or any other military assets” the general says. Squad Aardvark leaves
the carriage, in the middle of the path, and exit the Agami headquarters, the
hostages are then shot in the head by the soldiers guarding the Agami headquarters.
“Man, I feel bad for them, the military’s reputation was definitely docked
down, and it was done by one of the best squads in the military, sucks for
them” Leon says, Wade thinks to himself “I wonder if that will happen to our
squad, what if I don’t do a good enough job to lead us? What if I fail? Will it
all amount to nothing?”.
“Come on! let’s go we need to report to the general”
Wade says, everyone starts heading towards the main building, everyone is
nervous, arms are shaking. What will the general say to them?
