The transparent young man was able to pull the sword out and blood began to shoot out of Lucius' body, then it fell back with the sword of its hand, and the sword cracked the floor as soon as It was hit.
*Crack* *Crack* *Crack*
Lucius got up as his body started readjusting and regenerating at an impressive rate, as he soon was fine as if he was never impaled by a gigantic sword.
"It sure is nice to move again, you can't imagine what staying still for so long can do to your body. You've been of great help to me, so I'll remember your name, Nihil Asfet, but our partnership has come to an end. How was it that they said it in your world again? Bon appetite, was it?" Lucius' eyes now had a golden glow while his expression no longer carried an unnecessarily wide smile, but rather a smug one.
Nihil got up with his hand still on the sword and while looking at Lucius, he said. "Should've known not to listen to the suspicious guy with a sword impaled in him that did in fact tell me he committed many crimes, but in my defense, I was too worried about my own situation and safety to pay attention."
"You really take things too leisurely, if you say that at a moment like this, I almost like you."
{Young man, you have no understanding of what you just unleashed on the Omniverse, but now is not the time for that, use me and seal him again while he's weak if he has time to recover it is unknown how much it might take to stop him!} A voice spoke directly into Nihil's mind similar to how Lucius was doing it before.
Nihil looked at the sword surprised it was talking to him telepathically, but he didn't waste any time and lifted the sword pointing it at Lucius. The sword though bigger than him wasn't weighing on Nihil anymore, as if the weight he felt before was a lie.
"Oh, so you woke up that old thing, if I were you I would just give up instead of making this painful and putting my hopes on an oversized nail clip." Lucius snapped his fingers and black flames began to surround his body with black flames
"He doesn't seem to like you very much and doesn't seem worried, are you sure we can take him on?"
{Of course, he doesn't like me, I think you would feel the same way about me if I was impaled in you for a very long time, and do you think a
guy that was smiling when a sword got Impaled in him would be worried about anything? As for taking him on, it's not about being or not being able to, if you want to survive, you have to.}
"Great, so we're f*cked."
Lucius didn't stay still for any longer and three floating black circles with various symbols on them appeared in the air next to him as he said, "Indeed, you are in a quite interesting situation."
One of the black circles launched black flames spears at Nihil and the other two soon followed one after the other.
Nihil began running forward towards the flames and Lucius. Once the flames were about to hit his body.
*Slash*
Nihil cut through them waving around a sword he shouldn't be capable of because of its sheer size and the weight that would come as a consequence of that.
*Slash* *Slash*
The other two spears of black flames met with the same fate.
(It seems my body or soul or whatever is moving just like it would in Neo Reality online... I'll have to figure some things out, if I come out this alive.) Nihil thought to himself as he got closer to Lucius.
*Thrust*
Nihil went for Lucius' torso with the sword positioned horizontally.
Lucius evaded to his right side moving at high speed and took the opportunity to move closer to Nihil.
But just as he was stepping in closer, Nihil changed the position of the to a vertical one and swang at Lucius.
*Blast!* *Whoosh*
Cracking the ground Lucius throw himself back by using the black flames on his feet to create an impulse that sent him back, and with a backflip, he land on the floor a few meters(feet) away from Nihil.
"You're quite slippery aren't you?" Nihil asked.
"You're about to be burned to the crisp aren't you?" Lucius retorted.
Before Nihil could say anything else six more black circles appeared all around him, one below him, one behind, one in front, one on top, and two each on one side. It seems Lucius set those up during their exchange.
{Grab me tightly and think of a barrier fast!!} The sword shouted in Nihil's mind.
*Blast* *Roaring Whoosh!*
The flames from all sides completely engulfed Nihil, and once it was done all that was left was a vapor cloud that slowly started dispersing.
Nihil didn't wait for that and dashed out of the vapor cloud and slashed down on Lucius who stopped it with both his hands. A small blast of wind was created by the two forces colliding.
With that Lucius began to spin and throw Nihil together with the sword at a wall.
*Crash!*
*Cough!* *Cough!* "Am I not a soul? Why am I coughing?" Nihil was met with strong pain and coughing from which only the latter surprised him.
{It's useless, you can't win even with him in this state. We don't have another choice, you'll have to soulbond with me if you want to live this through.} The sword announced.
"Just do it, at this point I don't have many options." Nihil immediately agreed.
As they were talking more black floating circles appeared in the air around them, this time only four of them.
Nihil dashed forward to avoid the attack without a second thought and passed by the circles, and as soon as he stopped.
*Blast!* *Boom!* *Crash!*
Four black flame spears hit his back and send him flying to the other side of the room. It seems the spells redirected and hit him the same.
Lucius began calmly and slowly walking towards Nihil.
"You seem inexperienced at fighting magic caster, what a pity, you should have waited a little bit more before dodging, or maybe it tank it up like last?" Lucius was casually talking as if he was just a friend giving pointers.
{Nihil Asfet, on this day, I Hepha Omega, the Cosmic weapon spirit pledge my allegiance and Soul to you, so that our bond will be eternal so long as you live. Do you take me?} Hepha the sword declared to Nihil.
"Yes, Just do it fast." Nihil wasn't interested in whatever was going on with Hepha in the least as long as it got done fast.
Hepha began to shine and soon turned completely into light before bending into a snake-like shape and dividing into two and attaching herself to each one of Nihil's arms before penetrating them and fusing with him.
"Aaaaerrrgggghhhh!!" The screams of pain Nihil out were not small or pretty.
Lucius just stood there watching with another one of his disturbingly wide smiles on his face.
As soon as the light faded out, Nihil had to chains with a spear tip, one wrapped around each of his arms.
"You're finally done, do you know how much holding back I had to do waiting for this moment? Hepha you old stupid b*tch, you couldn't control your mellow heart, could you? You had to help the random mortal, I must once again thank you Nihil Asfet, you truly made my existence my easier. Without you, this reunion between husband and wife would have been much harder." Lucius said as he approached with his odd smile.
Hearing this, Nihil could only think of asking one thing. "How insane were you to have married that dude?... Wait, did this guy marry a weapon? Lucius, you're down horrendous G."
"Hahahaha! I really like how you can still say something as stupid in your current situation. You have no chances of fighting, she just did this soulbond thing in hopes of saving your soul, but now I can easily take hers and yours.", Lucius explained amused before extending his hand towards Nihil and lifting him in the air, then pulling him into his hand.
He grabbed Nihil by the neck and Nihil could do nothing as not a single particle of his soul would respond to his commands.
{Don't listen to him! You'll thrive, I myself wasn't sure of it, but after our soulbond, I realized who you are and what that encapsulates for him. I'll protect your soul from any damage, you just have to relax and stay calm, it might be the last time we talk, so please do a favor and don't go around freeing very powerful dangerous individuals.} Hepha said to Nihil before going completely silent.
(People, you do something stupid once and now you're 'that specific stupid thing guy' for life.) Nihil was complaining about how Hepha was still holding onto the fact he freed Lucius.
"Well, it was a pleasure to know you, maybe in different circumstances we would have gotten along, but that matters not! Your time has come to an end, my child." Lucius began to drain the life out of Nihil, no, he was absorbing Nihil himself as green particles began to disperse from Nihil.
Suddenly a golden light shone from Nihil's back as Lucius was trying to consume him. The light grew brighter each second as the crest of the Fasetis family appeared on his back.
"Oh hohohoho, look what we have here? Who would have thought you would belong to that family out of all possible outcomes... It seems I'll lose this battle, but not without getting back at my wife for helping seal, and saying this: I lost the fight today, but my victory in this war was decided from the moment you pulled the sword out of me." Lucius give one last unnecessarily wide smile before all the energy around them began to accumulate in their way.
*BOOOOMMM!*
A massive explosion took place and the whole area Lucius called his domain was blown to smidgins, leaving nothing but a transparent body floating in the void in a single direction as if going to a planned destination.
