The price for this ritual was terrible. He desecrated one of his family member’s urns and took Sabre’s body from his coffin. There he stood in the basement, looming over his fiance’s body. He looked back at the book and grinned lightly. He took his switchblade and slit his tongue, the crimson dropping into the mouth of Sabre. He grabbed some of the ash and put a mark of witchcraft on Sabre’s head. "Splinter of life, make haste, take hold. Quicken the breath to awaken the soul." He chanted repeatedly.

He stood there chanting for 5 minutes, he was about to stop but then saw Sabre’s fingers twitching. His eyes widened as he kept chanting, a swirling green and black dust surrounded both him and Sabre. Things about Sabre changed, his hair changed from a beautiful blonde to a medium auburn, and soon enough, Sabre was sitting up and got up to his feet. He gasped and put a hand on his chest. “Wh- Alek..?”

Aleksander hugged Sabre tightly. “Sabre..” He said through his tears, Sabre smiled lightly and hugged back. Alek looked up at him to see his eyes changed as well. One of his eyes was now a bright gold while the white part was black. The Ritual changed him alright, but just appearances from what he could see. Sabre held his lover by his hips and twirled him around. “My love I’m so happy to see you,” Sabre said softly.

Aleksander could only smile and kiss his over. Sabre leaned into the kiss, he tasted the blood from Aleksander’s tongue but ignored it. Aleksander leaned into his lover’s touch submitting himself to whatever Sabre wanted. It was like nothing ever happened, he was still submitting to his lover, but he didn’t like this feeling as much as he used to. Sabre soon broke the kiss. “Where is that bastard Nick.” He said softly, but coldly. Alek looked at Sabre. “In the guest room, we offered him.” He responded, Sabre could only nod and walked away. Sabre walked upstairs and headed back to the bedroom. From the autopsy, his bandages had been removed. Sabre was quick to wrap himself back up. He turned to look at himself in the mirror. All his scars were now permanent. Though the slit in his cheek from when he had accidentally stabbed himself in the mouth had turned into a separate mouth.

It was its only separate mouth, it follows the same movements as Sabre’s actual mouth but when Sabre stuck a finger in to see if it connected to its actual mouth he didn't feel anything. It was like a black hole. Sabre didn’t see to mind and shrugged it off. He left his room holding one of his wrists while he moved it in a circular motion to crack it. Then he cracked his fingers and his knuckles. He stretched and yawned softly, through yawning he had realized he can now unhinge his jaw. He found it humorous and chuckled softly at it.

He felt good as new…but his brain was thinking differently. It looked at things differently. It saw new opportunities and he had the perfect plan. He had ideas and perfect executions of these plans. “Oh Alek” Sabre called in a singsong tone, Alek, sure enough, ran to his side. “Yes?” He smiled a bit while he blushed softly when Sabre put a hand on his cheek. “I have some plans, I need you to do some things for me in specific time frames. Got it?” “Yes, Sabre what is it?”

“Murder.” That question single-handedly turned Alek’s curiosity into pure dread and terror. “W-What” Sabre scowled and gripped Alek’s jaw. “I said murder. Are you deaf?” Sabre raised a brow. “I said I want you to commit murder. At specific time frames with specific weapons and instructions. Do you understand me?” Alek could only nod while Sabre let go of his jaw. “I’ll give you specific instructions, but for now. I would practice using that machete and the rifle.” He walked away while Alek stood there terrified.

“H-He’s changed.. But maybe that'll be good.” Alek said to himself. “Yeah, that'll be good! Nothing to worry about.” Alek reassured himself to the best of his abilities but it wasn’t working very well. He just had to believe his Sabre was still there. The Sabre he fell in love with was still there, there had to be.
